All too true. A friend of mine had a Frenchie. If the door was open for a split second, she would run out. You can be very alert, but she would still get out occasionally. Fortunately, she never got run over.
I walked her every day. She got along fine with the dogs in her house—my friend had two other dogs. But there was always potential drama when she met another dog on our walks. One time she got out of her collar. Before I caught up with her a block later, she had bitten another dog. Fortunately, no big harm.
More drama. She sold the dog to a guy whom I met on a walk. He liked and knew Frenchies, so he seemed like a good owner. A year later, the police picked the Frenchie 20 miles from where the new owner lived. The police called my friend, as the Frenchie still had her old dog tags. She picked up the Frenchie. The Frenchie had recently given birth. Appears the new owner abandoned her once he had some pups to sell. My friend found a family with three kids who loved lavishing attention on our Frenchie. Win-win situation.

And right on cue, the leftists I follow are jumping with glee at his death and hoping he rots in hell.
I’m still am baffled how someone could harbor so much hate in their heart for someone. I dont like Biden, Obama etc, but I would never say or think such upon their deaths. To constantly, every waking hour, be consumed by such hate I would think would eventually destroy the soul. CDS, conservative derangement syndrome, and TDS are truly mental illnesses.
Is anyone else angry about the drama tax? I’m just foaming at the mouth, jumping up and down, screaming at the clouds angry.

A fair number of them appear to be truly soulless; this would explain that.
Someone once said that hate was akin to drinking poison so that some other person would die, inferring that only the hater would suffer. My experience is that this is true.
Yep, I was going to comment on the hatred shown towards Lindsey Graham.
I do wonder how many of those expressing hatred towards him even know that at 21 he became the legal guardian of his then 13-year old sister. Their mother died when Lindsey was 20 years old; and then a few months later their father died.
He could have said (and I think many on the left just might) let the state take care of her. No, he didn’t do that. He became, at such a young age, her legal guardian and took care of her.
That action alone (not to mention other things he did for our country) make him a real mensch!

I think the hate directed at Graham is partly due to his being a prominent GOP senator. However, just go comment where any of these Ds/leftists gather and watch the virulent hate that comes your way. That’s why I said TDS has changed to CDS…general hatred of any conservative. Why? Well, from what they say it’s because they hold us responsible for the election of Trump. Thus we must be despised, and if possible, eliminated.
Before Trump Derangement Syndrome there was Bush Derangement Syndrome. Before that they hated Reagon passionately. Nixon, ditto. LBJ was included even though he was a Dem becauseq he was the wrong kind of Dem. They didn’t really like Jimmy Carter for similar reasons, though it was less intense because he mostly governed the way they liked.
The thing to remeber is that left-liberalism is, de facto, a religion. It fills the void most people look to God for. So opposition becomes heresy on an emotional level.
The fact that there is a sense of ‘time running out’ for some of the old hippie types amplifies the force of it.
