Not much of interest this morning on the editorial pages of the WSJ, so my weekend is off to a disappointing start, but there is this gem. An interview with Shelby and Eli Steele.
I think many here will love it. I expected them to straddle the fence a bit on Trump, but they are downright enthusiastic. How enthusiastic?
What gratifies Shelby most is Mr. Trump’s effort to eradicate racial preferences. “Ordinary blacks love that he’s got the balls to do that. They know the scam.”
“I want to see all that stuff dismantled,” Shelby says. “I see him as godly. That’s the way I see it in my gut. Because all that stuff is what’s holding my people back.”

And now, with Tucker Carlson sitting on the board of a publication stacked with anti-Trump operatives, while that same outlet circulates smears portraying JD Vance as a Nazi, the pattern is impossible to ignore. This isn’t organic criticism. It’s coordinated sabotage masquerading as “conservative debate” designed to undermine Trump, sow distrust, and fracture the coalition that threatens the ruling class.
One thing is for certain: JD Vance must take control of the situation, and that begins with publicly distancing himself from Tucker Carlson and his band of Trump-haters seeking to destroy the America First movement from within.

The Tucker Carlson thing is a wonderful illustration of the perils of relying on other people ( wether pundit or media) we must rely on our own judgement! We can be wrong after all we are human.

Strength training is good for muscle, heart, and bone building. And those are what allow us to walk, bend, and do the various tasks of daily living. It takes commitment, but it works.

IMO, the return on investment in weight training – at any age, any level – is the closest thing there is to a ‘free lunch’ in this life.

In my view, there is enough accumulated evidence, in just the last 80 years alone, to attest to the reality of UAPs and to the reality that various entities, NHIs—however defined, are directing them.

The problem now is the cacophony of different interpretations of what that “thing” might be—a huge, veritable football stadium packed to the topmost tiers with people, everyone talking at the same time–and sometimes yelling, or even jumping up and down–about their theories, their takes on “reality”—their individual fingers pointing in all sorts of different directions, toward their versions of the “truth.”
This chaos and cacophony all magnified and sustained by what is pretty obviously at least 80 or more years of heavy duty government efforts to hide whatever this reality actually is, to misdirect, to confuse things even further, to muddy the waters.
Thus, we arrive at the situation as it is today.
Does any one person, or any group of individuals actually have a handle on this “thing,” actually know the truth, what is really going on, is certain which reality is the true “Reality?”
Or, for all of the authorities misdirection and hiding of the truth, is that truth that they are actually baffled, and that—to date—no one has been able to discover what the truth actually is, much less to successfully deal with that truth to humanity’s advantage?
