The Bain barrage backlash brouhaha — 15 Comments

  1. In the South there is an expression for guys like Obama. It’s he would climb a tree to tell a lie when he could stand on the ground and tell the truth. The MSM have picked up the habit.

  2. no wonder most people find magicians fun, they cant help but pay too much attention to nothings while ignoring the trick..

while your concerned with leftist pap and bull puckies…

    July 4, 2012
The Obama administration has ordered a major buildup of American military forces in the Persian Gulf, as punishing economic sanctions imposed by both the US and the European Union within the last week have sharply escalated tensions with Iran. The Pentagon has deployed both a large number of warships in the Gulf itself, as well as advanced warplanes in neighboring countries.

Do you really think Bain matters to anyone but propagandists who WANT you to discuss it and ignore the important things?

you know… getting suckered into conversations made for consumption is a means of social warfare… the way to “win” is not to get suckered into meaningless debates over false positions and ideas invented by the left to sucker you into it.

its akin to watching people argue whether prince namor the submariner is better than superman… or whether logic of spock can tryly be trumped by kirks illogical leaps?

    its cow pattie bull puckies…

BAIN and the story and claims around it are meaningless pap.

    Business Insider
Russia Is Massing Troops On Iran’s Northern Border And Waiting For A Western Attack

The Russian military anticipates that an attack will occur on Iran by the summer and has developed an action plan to move Russian troops through neighboring Georgia to stage in Armenia, which borders on the Islamic republic, according to informed Russian sources.

hey… those countries i said would have no longer had a land bridge to deliver military material… and which i said would be in play if we didnt finish the job fast? and that was what? 5 years ago?

  4. misplacing focus and negating conversations in favor or safer fair, is a form of denial…

rather than talk about whats coming, lets talk aobut something else that cant be resolved and will keep us busy and so we avoid denying the facts of the other conversation we arent having.

its a great defense when positive

its a horrible thing when it makes one sit around and not prepare for something coming that is so obvious that one refused to believe it.

so when unthinkable things happen, better to hide denial in endless conversations of things that are not so scary.

rehashing the lie of bain, and so on, over and over is a great way to be familiar with something that means nothing and ignore the mountain with its own gorillas in the middle of the living room.

let me put it this way..
and i wont use Hitler (YAY!!!)
    i will use napoleon…

naploeons greatest defeat came at waterloo

An Imperial French army under the command of Emperor Napoleon was defeated by the armies of the Seventh Coalition, comprising an Anglo-Allied army under the command of the Duke of Wellington combined with a Prussian army under the command of Gebhard von Blé¼cher.

    the key is this moment

Before leaving Ligny, Napoleon ordered Grouchy, commander of the right wing, to follow up the retreating Prussians with 33,000 men. A late start, uncertainty about the direction the Prussians had taken, and the vagueness of the orders given to him meant that Grouchy was too late to prevent the Prussian army reaching Wavre, from where it could march to support Wellington. By the end of 17 June, Wellington’s army had arrived at its position at Waterloo, with the main body of Napoleon’s army following.

what if Grouchy was not delayed?
then Waterloo may have not ended the same

what if the people who would protest before a buildup thrusts them into war, were busy discussing jello, or bain, or obamas fetish for orange underwear?

For want of a nail the shoe was lost.
For want of a shoe the horse was lost.
For want of a horse the rider was lost.
For want of a rider the message was lost.
For want of a message the battle was lost.
For want of a battle the kingdom was lost.
And all for the want of a horseshoe nail.

who will be the nail that doesn’t protest while they are distracted so that they are a second too late to be counted?

This proverb has been around in many variations for centuries and describes a situation where permitting some small undesirable situation will allow gradual and inexorable worsening. The rhyme is thus a good illustration of the “butterfly effect”, and ideas presented in chaos theory, involving sensitive dependence on initial conditions; the initial condition being the presence or absence of the horseshoe nail.

At a more literal level, it summarizes the importance of military logistics throughout the history of human warfare.

A somewhat similar idea is referred to in the metaphor known as The Camel’s nose.
[your ignoring the camels nose in your tent while your having the party… ]

An important thing to note is that these chains of causality are only seen in hindsight. Nobody ever lamented, upon seeing his unshod horse, that the kingdom would eventually fall because of it

an important thing to note that the wiki does NOT note is that when you try to show them in foresight, your Cassandra who is cursed not to be heard… then in hindsight, punished for not warning people enough!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In Greek mythology, Cassandra was the daughter of King Priam and Queen Hecuba of Troy. Her beauty caused Apollo to grant her the gift of prophecy.

the power to see the causational series in hindsight… as foresight.

When she did not return his love, Apollo placed a curse on her so that no one would ever believe her predictions. She is a figure both of the epic tradition and of tragedy, where her combination of deep understanding and powerlessness exemplify the ironic condition of humankind.

so we have ignored all chicken little’s assuming none of them know…

rather than think some are right, but how do we tell?

While Cassandra foresaw the destruction of Troy (she warned the Trojans about the Trojan Horse, the death of Agamemnon, and her own demise), she was unable to do anything to forestall these tragedies since no one believed her.

the reason is we use argument from ignorance. / ie. the absence of evidence is evidence to the person using it against the idea they dont want to think through.

we forget that the whole of our conscious mind was made to think ahead. to turn reactive instinct, to anticipatory knowing.

you never live in the now, you live in the now projection your mind makes to sync you with the world. there is a perceptual delay, and there are computational delays..

so for you to move and meet something and work with others and do, you have to anticipate… so your mind is all about creating the illusion for you that your ahead of the time, so when you act, it seems to be now…. but is always then… there is no now… now is over by the time you get it, break it down, and think what to do…

so the futile thing which nothing can be done about as its already happened adn you cant put humpty dumpty back together again…

takes center stage, while the preventable thing you wont have time for after the time wasted on the futile thing, will not be prevented.

THATs a major part of the game

its a lot easier to give someone the wrong time to come to a meeting, than it is to convince them not to show voluntarily, or put a guard to stop them if not voluntarily.

they are making sure your spending your time on nothing that matters to them, rather than spend time on the 900 executive orders, the czars, the new laws, the funding, the build up to war, which will make treasury holders families wealthy etc.

the only people that can stop them are the people, they cant stop the people… if there are a million of them, there are over 300 million of the stoppers.

so they cant stop the public OTHER Than turn the public own rules against them OR distract them so that its too late to act.

  5. I think the Democrats are seeing some numbers that scare the sh!t out of them. I’ve thought it for a while, because they keep making these really desperate moves. I think they know something that no one else is talking about. One possible thing is that if you look at the polls from reputable firms, using an LV screen rather than an A or RV screen, they all seem to show Romney with at least a 1-2 point lead over Obama. This usually translates to a larger lead when the actual votes are cast. More evidence might be the fund raising deficit from last month. I have been thinking for a while that we are on the verge of another election like 2010 (albeit not as bad, because there just isn’t as much turf to gain), and I think they know it.

    Love the preview function btw!

  6. hurry up and read it before neo cuts it down..

your opposition has had years to study, you only get 10 minutes to get a cut down version that is easy to ignore given its size, the time, and so on.

after all, what you learn from childhood under davis, mentors, and college and such, can easily be refuted in a paragraph.

this is why they are going to win and they ARE Winning and winning is a done deal already

they have spent a lifetime of preparing and learning and so on. and their victims find that cramming for the test inst as much fun as talking endlessly over nothings

    lets have a presidential debate
Obama gets an hour per question
Romney gets 5 minutes AFTER obama
[if his comments are still too long we will just cut him off at the mike]

    who wins?

Isnt it nice that we create that same situation all the time between press and discussions?

your not going to figure out 140 years of social engineering games without a guide.

    even Dante had Virgil

“‘In Heaven there’s a gentle lady — one
who weeps for the distress toward which I send you,
so that stern judgment up above is shattered.
And it was she who called upon Lucia,
requesting of her: “Now your faithful one
has need of you, and I commend him to you.”
    Lucia, enemy of every cruelty,
arose and made her way to where I was,
    sitting beside the venerable Rachel.
She said: “You, Beatrice, true praise of God,
why have you not helped him who loves you so
that — for your sake — he’s left the vulgar crowd?
Do you not hear the anguish in his cry?
Do you not see the death he wars against
upon that river ruthless as the sea?”
No one within this world has ever been
so quick to seek his good or flee his harm
    as I…’” (Inf. II, 94-111)

if the authors i am copying are longer than the allowed posts, then i guess only the leftists who spent their lives studying it and reading it, and learning it, and discussing it among themselves. have all the advantage and i am on the wrong side of the outcome

having graduate level topics reduced to junior high level cliff notes that agree with PC focuses from media, is frustrating.

but more frustrating is that even cliff note versions are way too big and complicated and boring.

you know… its as boring as reading a first aid manual… and the first aid manual is dark and grim too… so why bother with a first aid manual when you don’t need it. when they cut your leg off, THAT’S when you should start reading the manual. right?

nope… the patient is dying on the table, and the first aid manual is still too boring for the surgeons to bother with… they will cram at the last second just as the machine goes from beep to single tone…

then their children will wonder how it happened

just as the children in Germany and all wondered how it happened.

Just as norm Thomas told you it would happen!!! [who’s he? ]

hope someone read it before it was all gone..

the war will be a surprise despite everything as its better to ignore the unthinkable as women do, than engage the problem as men do. let me know how that works out…

  7. to win an election you have to have one…

their references to Lincoln and his suspension of parts of it, are telling you whats on their minds.. there are a few new orders that let them suspend it and elections.

so perhaps the whole conversation about elections for the year is a waste if there are no elections and they are put off due to the big conflict. and if the have a big war, with social civil unrest here, then there wont be an election.

    lets ignore it.

on another note, Krauthammer points out that the military in the Arab spring thing, dissolved parliament because the radical Islamist had enough representation to rewrite the constitution and make a new one.

    such bad generals, eh?

    lets ignore it…

  8. Obama long ago gave up on the pretense of saying anything true. He’s now given up the pretense of saying anything rational. Remember the idiot who claimed Obama wasn’t a big spender because his analysis placed the stimulus under Bush. Obama embraced it and hyped it despite the fact that it was completely ridiculous.

Obama and his campaign are now reduced to pointing fingers and claiming that Romney’s mom wears army boots. They throw out any nonsense that comes up simply if it sounds bad for their opponent. They gave up thinking a few months ago.

  9. Speaking of big lies; this one is similar to the really big ones the left maintains as their raison d’éªtre. There is a big business conspiracy that uses money to control government policy and influence, via marketing, to control the public. Re: we need their enlightened leadership to save us from it.
There was a righty meme going around about how Obama might have just worn out the concept of ‘cool’ being good… by being a personification of it while also being petty and a failure (re: putting in people’s mind that petty and looser have a lot in common with cool).
Along similar lines; I wonder if the left might do some long term demographic damage to themselves by putting a spot light on their economic conspiracy theories in general (via a debate over Bain).. getting people to really think about them for some time… and realize how bs they are… and ergo; how bs the left is.

I say; lets talk Bain 24/7.

  10. The one eyed man in the kingdom of the blind is not the king, but is made the court jester: the two eyed man is crucified.

  11. The presumption that voters are driven by facts will hang us all.

Romney as a felon is but one sortie in the mission to confirm the *feeling* that he’s the evil rich white guy who fired you to buy his wife a fourth Cadillac. All they need to do is keep associating Romney with the unpopular aspects of what we call capitalism. Make Mitt appear to be someone who bends the rules to his advantage, attack him on soft axes like fairness and compassion. Paint him as just the next Republican out of the mold.

Calling the other team liars doesn’t make anyone feel more comfortable and confident about our team. Slinging mud and telling the public that the other side’s mom wears combat boots wins elections. Remember, half the people are dumber than average…
