Taking a vacation from Election 2012
Notice I haven’t written a thing about the 2012 presidential campaign today. I hope you appreciate my forbearance. Of course, you can use the comments section of this thread to keep on discussing the candidates and the debates, if you so desire. Tomorrow I plan to resume regular programming.
Now, if I could only go to the beach without freezing my butt off.
just get bundled up or pick a different beach… heh heh…
Jeffrey Zients will serve as President Obama’s new acting director of the Office of Management and Budget (OMB), but the president’s decision might undercut attacks on Republican Mitt Romney’s career as a venture capitalist, because Zients and Romney are both alumni of Bain & Company.
I certainly can’t blame you for wanting to take a vacation from the election campaign, but be careful about cruise ships…
chuckling from rickl….
The pompous seem a little more pompous lately. It’s extremely hard to watch Bill o’ slamming Rick Santorum about the felon voting bill.
Rick Santorum talked extensively during the debate letting everyone know where he stood.
sheesh.. Lazy people.
Maybe I should just be more lazy and stop doing any research or listening and more spouting off at the mouth.
Should I spout off more Neo? 🙂
“Now, if I could only go to the beach without freezing my butt off.”
Try the Osa Peninsula of Costa Rica; warm secluded beaches, wonderful & extensive nature preserves, great seafood, rich & aromatic coffee, and Tico & Tica alike adore tourists with dollars. Its my favorite vacation spot.
if you want amenities, then i would say Kuta beach or Lombok. Togian Island and Nusa Lembongan Island are alternatives with tourist facilities. from there they go down in western commonalities, and have different personalities given the lack of tourists in many of them… try Bangka, Belitung, and also in Ambon..
i would suggest going in the warmer season not the wetter season, you can then be rewarded with some of the most breath taking sunsets or sunrises you have ever seen in your life or will see.
for the most part they are all warm/hot all year around by US standards.
