Speaking of Diva’s, Laura Bush was interviewed by Chris Wallace on the Fox News Sunday program.
She is a class act.
Chris brought up Hurricane Katrina, 911, Afghanistan and many other topics. I encourage everyone to see that or read the transcript.
I found myself wanting to stand and cheer.
I have voted and it was an honor to vote for you.
A string bikini might put you over the top.
-you’re a high roller with 355, so far…..
You know, considering you don’t have a radio show and are not compelled to show the Grand Canyon of cleavage you’re not doing all that bad.
I’ll bet if you took that apple away you could sweep the field.
vanderleun, If the raison de vote for a specific Blogress Diva is as shallow as you believe (e.g., depth of cleavage), have you ever considered the possibility that neo’s apple may be there to protect us as much as to protect herself, since she may actually closely resemble the second coming of the Wicked Witch of the West? In which case, removing the protective little green apple, as you suggest, would have the predictable no-vote effect on us shallow types and would result in sweeping away all chances of her ever winning—leaving her to metaphorically fly off on her broom in a fit of pique while cursing the likes of you. Don’t tempt fate–leave the apple where it is.
Ditto FredHjr’s comments.
neo, looking at vote totals, and given that Pamela of Atlas Shrugs is, for some reason a runaway favorite, you have an extremely respectable vote count. Actually more than respectable: a following of which you should be quite proud, and deservedly so! (But then that Blog Meter –is that what it’s called? can’t quite remember — has also indicated that what you have to say, and the way in which you say it is recognized as some of the best commentary out there with a consistent and growing readership. That’s really quite something when one considers the enormous number of blogs on the Internet! I say Congrats! (And best wishes for a Happy New Year to you and all your readers, especially the “regulars” who increase the value of your words, with lively debate and entertaining wit).
I just took a look at the results, and I must say that this is an outstanding field, and the contest really should be much closer than it is.
Neo, placing third in that field is really something to be proud of.
Everyone else, go check out some of the other bloggers on the list, including the ones who only got a handful of votes. You won’t be disappointed.
