The bitter clingers of Pennsylvania… — 12 Comments

  1. In the realm of silly fun, and of fun discussion over beers:

    Could Barack be Candide?

Aren’t there parallels? Isn’t Barack’s cynicism a symptom of a loss of faith and optimism both in humanity and in God’s plan for existence? Could commenter #112, with addition of a capital “C”, arguably have been expressing exactly what he meant?

  2. Occasionally I enjoy the comments on Politico. The Democrats are such whiney thin-skinned bores. So full of themselves.

I love how they lash out at anyone who supports other candidates and then complain how hateful Republicans are.

  3. I am actually waiting fo the billboards asking whether the people who organized this primary should organize your health care.

  4. And the funny part is that the Dems want to do away with the Electoral College, so we can have exactly the same problem in general elections that they’re having now in their primary.

Gotta love that proportional representation. It’s worked great for Italy and the Weimar Republic.

GREAT idea for billboards! Would that someone dare…

Hmmm…. Seems the Dems HAVE to figure out way to “redo” FL and Michigan… How else to be taken seriously when they (as per usual — and especially when they’re not winners) charge Republicans of disenfranchising voters….? Uh oh….

  6. “faith and optimism both in humanity and in God’s plan for existence”
These two faiths are generally mutually exclusive. And hardly a person can survive and retain his/her sanity without at least one of them.
