  1. I have a question. If Trump had been reelected and everything that is happening in the Ukraine now was the same, would the people that blame the US for the pipeline explosions blame Trump as they are now blaming Biden?

  2. would the people that blame the US for the pipeline explosions blame Trump as they are now blaming Biden

Isn’t that sort of moot? I mean, when you have a situation like that pipeline explosion where it’s unclear who the responsible party is and there’s all sorts of potential motivations for it from all sorts of players, it’s just human nature to fill in that blank with whomever you like (or hate as the case may be).

I mean, who killed Jeffery Epstein? Unless you have some kind of hard evidence, you can just let your imagination run wild.

  3. I mean, who killed Jeffery Epstein? That reference to the popularity of conspiracy theories reminded me that today is the 59th anniversary of JFK’s assassination. A baby born on 11/22/63 would now be older (by 13 years) than JFK was when he died.

  4. I mean, who killed Jeffery Epstein? Unless you have some kind of hard evidence, you can just let your imagination run wild.

The evidence would be gathered by tracing the contacts of every person on duty the night he died and every person to whom they reported, all the way up to the attorney-general.

  5. The Frick museum is always one of my favorite stops in Manhattan.

The last time I visited, my wife & I stayed at our host’s apart. near the top of an apartment building at the corner of Morningside Heights and 110th.

I noticed an unusual building along Central Park West nearby, with cylindrical room structures and spire tops. I wondered if it was some old mansion. But no, it was built as a cancer hospital back when they didn’t understand the disease. A trendy theory of that time was that corners of rooms collected dust & germs, so eliminating room corners would be healthier. It’s between 105th and 106th.

  6. Speaking of “conspiracies” —

Now that we have solid evidence of rampant and egregious Government dishonesty and corruption at the highest levels of the FBI, CIA, DOJ and White House, will we see a resurgence in interest regarding the following coverups?:

    — Vince Foster “suicide” (carpet fibers and all)
    — Ron Brown’s death from gunshot to head with air crash cover
    — TWA Flight 700 shoot down
    — Okla City bombing and the Iraqi connection (see Jayna Davis book)
    — Clinton’s FBI file scandal (now that we know Democrats use NSA spy files for blackmail and other purposes)
    — JFK election fraud in Illinois and Texas in 1960
    — Obama’s many connections to terrorists and traitors
    — the fraud and corruption underlying most of Obama’s “stimulus”
    — the fraud and corruption driving the vaccine mandates and other covid policies
    — the fraud and corruption driving the global warming climate hoax
    — Sex trafficking generally and the Epstein case specifically

There’s enough here for a reputable journalism outfit (oxymoron?) to produce many seasons of investigative specials.

  7. There has been some interesting commentary from two CEO’s who have been booted from their companies because they are conservatives. John Gibson and Jennifer Sey from Tripwire and Levi Strauss respectively.

In particular, they have coined phrases that are appropriately more forceful and descriptive than the previous vernacular. John blames “social terrorism” for his ouster. Maybe a little over-the-top but better than “cancel culture.” Jennifer refers to the woke posturing going on a Levi’s corp. as “reputation laundering.” I really like that one.

  8. Q: …would the people that blame the US for the pipeline explosions blame Trump as they are now blaming Biden?

A: Biden: “We will bring an end to it.”
Did Trump ever make such a statement, or would he?
I doubt it. But thanks for the softball question.

  9. SHIREHOME, No.
Of course, everything wouldn’t be the same had President Trump been re-elected. It’s unlikely Putin would have launched a full-scale attack on Ukraine.
I have no idea who damaged Nord Stream 1, but given our meddling in Ukraine, wouldn’t rule out US involvement.
    1. Primary reason would be to eliminate German second thoughts about Ukraine war given the projection of this being a hard winter.
    2. Advances the aims of global alarmists. Any reduction of fossil fuel use is good. The fact that Europe is having to increase use of wood as energy source escapes the Alarmists.
    3. Russia is an impediment to the WEF/globalist agenda. Remember Biden has made several allusions to overthrowing/eliminating Putin rule.

As has been speculated, it could be internal politics in Russia. Putin damaged it to stiffen resolve and lessen negotiating a settlement as an option.

  10. Yeah that AZ thang is a real headscratcher, given the Democratic Party’s penchant for free, fair, secure and transparent—let’s throw in “low-gluten” while we’re at it—elections….

    Gosh.What.A.Surprise!

Wonder if Hobbs will be able to SHUT IT DOWN NOW in her role as Secretary of State…or in her role as Guvner.
Or both! (For added emphasis…and authority!)

  11. TommyJay:

I have read that the projection for the final number of Republicans is 222, which is interesting because it’s the number the Democrats had as a result of the 2020 election.

  12. Some continue to whistle past the concept that while the WEF/Davos agenda is a threat to the USA (non woke USA) and Roosia, Putin would be quite happy for the WEF/Davos agenda to succeed in the USA. A weak and or divided USA serves Roosian interests. A very difficult concept for some.

  13. There’s enough here for a reputable journalism outfit (oxymoron?) to produce many seasons of investigative specials.

    No there isn’t.

  14. physicsguy,

I rode Amtrak yesterday. Lincoln Service, through the heart and heartland of the U.S. A fair amount of passengers were wearing masks and the majority of folks at the station were. I have to imagine it’s worse on the nation’s coasts.

When this started, in 2020, my guess was much of America would now take after Japan and other Asian countries, where many people wear face masks in public during the winter months.

  15. Rufus,

Here in Florida, I think the percentage is down to about 1% or less masking in the general public. Going into Publix I now see maybe 1 person at most. I had a doctor appt last week and no one was wearing masks now in the practice. Two months ago all the staff was, but patients weren’t required. Really nice to actually see my doctor’s face and have a conversation with her.

  16. Masks in Washington. I was grocery shopping yesterday. About 50% were wearing masks – both among shoppers and employees. It’s become a very optional thing and is probably reflective of the politics or fears of those concerned. Still not optional in medical offices. 🙁

To each his own, but the news channels keep running scare stories about RSV and how Covid is still lurking out there. The local news channels, even the Fox affiliate, parrot the stuff they get from the Guv’s people. Governor Inslee is very much in the mold of Newsome and Whitmer. I expect we will have another round of masking and so forth before the winter’s over.

  17. yes they want us eating bugs, and in the dark, thats the result of the policies they are pursuing, countries like hungary are rare outliers,

whose killed 100,000 americans through negligence, not putin, but the apparat that allows the poison to flow into this country, who put a turniquet on every new wellhead in the permian basin, the chukchi inlet, the gulf of mexico, who let the 20 years we had fought in afghanistan, turn into a macabre joke,

  18. Not your ordinary mass shooting: apropos of whether the shooting at the LGBTQ nightclub in Colorado Springs is a bona fide hate crime– the alleged perp is themselves nonbinary: “The public defenders for the suspect in the mass shooting at a Colorado Springs LGBTQ nightclub said in a Tuesday night court filing obtained by the New York Times that their client is non-binary and uses they/them pronouns.”

  19. Neo,
Interesting that you’ve seen a predicted number, 222. We’re now at 220, with CA 03 being called for Kiley. I’m just grateful that the Dem’s election stealing prowess isn’t unlimited.

  20. Here’s another post about Rosetta, if you twitch at the thought of reading Twitchy.
    https://redstate.com/brandon_morse/2022/11/23/huffpo-journalist-walks-back-everything-she-thought-about-j-k-rowling-after-just-a-little-digging-n663170

Rosetta was ready to bring the axe down on Rowling’s neck with an article titled “20 Transphobic JK Rowling Quotes We’re Done With.” The article, as you can guess, was meant to explore the horrific transphobia of the Potterworld author, further damning her to a life of social exclusion and cancelation.

Only something went wrong. Rosetta did something that the left hasn’t seen in a long, long time…journalism. As she posted in a Twitter thread that’s worth reading in its entirety, the HuffPo writer began with the goal of vengeance and by the end of her research she easily concluded that everyone is “burning the wrong witch.”

“Right, I’m done,” she began. “3 months ago, I was tasked with writing an article detailing “20 Transphobic JK Rowling Quotes We’re Done With” After 12 weeks of reading her books, tweets, full essay & finding the context of these “quotes”, I’ve not found a single truly transphobic message.”

Rosetta explained that she soon discovered that Rowling was not an “intolerable transphobe” but a woman who could have enjoyed fame and love but instead decided to be a warrior for women’s rights in the face of guaranteed hatred from a very large transgender movement. She said that while everyone was trying to go along to get along, Rowling was one of the few people paying attention.

“JK saw the loopholes being created & knew that women needed a voice,” Rosetta continued. “So instead of sitting back & wishing everyone well, said “It’s got to be me, hasn’t it?”. She did something terrifying & amazing & used her voice, I suspect knowing damn well what was to come. That’s bravery.”

Rosetta said that after three months of dedicated research, she found nothing transphobic from Rowling and that the abuse she endured — including death and rape threats — was as unforgivable as it was unwarranted.

“Shame on those who have framed her under the guise of “reporting” when you must know, deep down, you are just chucking out clickbait & stirring up hate. Shame on those who followed that propaganda without critical thought.

Shame on those who have framed her under the guise of “reporting” when you must know, deep down, you are just chucking out clickbait & stirring up hate,” she wrote. “Shame on those who followed that propaganda without critical thought. You’re burning the wrong witch. I stand with [Rowling].”

You can read the thread by clicking the tweet below.

The summary is good enough, but he should have included her final tweet in that thread:

“Already ignoring frantic phone calls from my agent demanding I take it down.
    NO”
