Wow! Seems like only 31 days ago it was the last day of July!
This year has is flying by. Closing our office, soon listing our So. Cal. condo, 2 things which we thought we would have done by summer–big changes ahead.
Changes have been coming faster and faster. It is hard for us to keep up.

Kids return to school – I can finally swim laps again at the local pool. Have fun kiddies…
I’m wearing my bright orange “Endless Summer” t-shirt today.
I have “Endless Summer” hydrangeas in my garden, in bloom.
I’m learning more Floridian sayings…like September and October are “summer jr.” And up to Cat 3, it’s just “rain with a name”. Gotta love that one.
It seems to me that Trump and his Administration have been and are tackling a whole host of serious problems which prior Administrations have just ignored.
Some Issues which come immediately to mind—The border and such massive, out of control, unvetted and illegal crossings of our border that actually amount to an Invasion, one deliberately designed to shift the demographics and the voting patterns of our country in favor of Democrats.
Removal of many thousands of usually illegal, unqualified–illegally licensed, or not licensed at all–non-English speaking or reading, and very dangerous truck drivers from our roads.
Voluntary and forced ICE deportations of hundreds of thousands of illegal aliens, many of them with criminal records.
Massive corruption, amounting to cumulatively many hundreds of billions of tax payer dollars stolen in various Social Welfare programs and depriving those who these programs are supposedly aimed at.
Massive voter fraud, again, designed to benefit Democrats.
Demotion of “Green Energy” schemes, and the Promotion of Energy Independence though increased use of our native energy resources.
Elimination of onerous and non-sensical energy regulation of common major household appliances.
The preventable ecological disasters caused by various government programs and policies in California—see wildfires and the lack of rebuilding.
Out of control crime in various cities.
Eliminating/renegotiation of unfair International trade policies which favored our supposed “Allies” and other nations, over the U.S.
Creation of a robust Industrial Policy, and luring foreign businesses to invest in the U.S,. and U.S. companies to return to the U.S.
Fighting to eliminate DEI, and special treatment and privileged status for LGBTQ+.
Reform of our military and reemphasizing war fighting.
Promotion of Space exploration and a Space economy.
Continuing investigation of the COVID mess, and of Fauci.
Increasing the broadening and applicability of the Second Amendment.
Containment of Iraq, and the attempted elimination of its capabilities to create a nuclear weapon.
Etc., etc.
I just wish that the Trump Administration could be more vigorous about getting the message–out and through the hostile filter of the Leftist MSM–about the sheer number and breadth of these initiatives, and President Trump and his Administration’s accomplishments.

your cateloging gave me the idea that each of those initatives should be given a catchy name and a number to help folks remember them and track progress on achieving them. This would essentially be a program management plan, with tasks added and deleted as applicable.
Perhaps the immigration issue is labeled Invasion Rejection and given a number like 100. Then subsets of the initiative, such as criminal deportations vs. overall mass deportations, etc. would be given sub numbers like 110 and 120, plus applicable names.
Probably have to keep the total down to 20 or fewer items in total, but then reports can reference the name/number and status.
The govt needs to supply the identifiers with a suitable M AGA or conservative slant that the media still has to use and can’t distort it as much as they might like.
Maybe call the whole thing a Political Achievement Strategy and Status – energized and done (PASSED) 🙂
OMG. A thunderstorm tonight with continued rain and it’s only 69 degrees now.
August has been parched with highs 95-100+ everyday. I’m a Sunbelt kid, but it was just too much,

Indeed they are and legacy media and online world can only focus on a couple of things at a time. Trump of course knows that and deliberately sucks the oxygen out of the news cycle with stunts like “Lake America”.
Meanwhile the other work goes on while the legacy media and the online world are distracted. The executive branch is not staffed by robots who just stand there until Trump tweets at them what to do, the objectives are pursued simultaneously.
Legacy media, influencers, talking heads, and Lifelong Republicans are seemingly unable to figure this out despite their being convinced they are the smart ones.

Yes, Trump has been amazing vis-à-vis all he has accomplished. But his Mission Impossible [should he choose to accept it; perhaps he already has] is to win the hearts and minds of the Sheeple who are not deeply committed to the Communist-Fascist-Globalist-Democrat Party.

“many” Republicans are against AI Data Centers — AND, I’ve seen many bad mouthing AI itself. ‘Stuck in the Past’? I dunno, but maybe that’s another reason the GOP can’t break out of a basically 50/50 tie with the Dems. Dems who have pushed socialism, indoctrination of innocent children in public schools (at least), child butchery, etc.
I’ll add ‘Stuck in the Past’ to my other ‘Two Peas’ research Tally: Let’s see…it was the white-Christian-male playbook, unable to separate church and state, morality court, heavy dogma, “burn the heretic,” Project 2025 (what happens “after the votes are counted”), and now ‘Stuck in the Past’.
Can GOP voters and leaders fix any of those? Can they attract new voters? Doubtful, IMHO.

RE: Data Centers
China is certainly not our friend, is in fact, our main and major enemy, and is trying in every way they can to kneecap us, and to steal our technology.
With the coming of AI, it looks like such Data Centers-and the massive amounts of new energy they require–are inevitable.
What I don’t like are reports that China is behind a lot of what are meant to look like local, indigenous efforts to refuse such Data Centers.
While we in the West might send in a few high level spies to find the information we want, the typical Chinese way of gathering intelligence is to use the “grain of sand approach.”
According to what I understand, pretty much every Chinese tourist, student, and Chinese scientist working here in the U.S. is interrogated when they return to China about what they have seen and what they have discovered, which might be of use to Chinese intelligence agencies, which put together each of these individual “grains of sand” to form a coherent and revelatory picture.
Thus, every Chinese visitor to our country is a potential intelligence agent for China.
And China is doing everything they can, using every underhanded trick, to retard our progress and growth.
