Are rhythmic gymnasts tall? — 10 Comments

  1. An average height of 5’4″ still makes them short; 5’9″ is getting into the medium-tall range.

  2. That woman is amazing. How in the heck do you practice doing that?

On the other hand, nobody likes a show-off.

  3. Thank you Neo, I’ve seen them on TV and videos but never knew they were called rhythmic gymnasts. Performing with a ball like that adds another layer to her routine. Enjoyable.

  4. It’s only a matter of time before some transgender “female” enters the world of rhythmic gymnastics.

On a similar note; in the professional women’s basketball league in France, the big star is some guy who identifies as a female. Here is a photo of this guy:

  5. JohnTyler, I wonder when that guy in France will apply to the WNBA, and what they will do with that.

A male presenting as feminine probably won’t have the right body type for rhythmic gymnastics.

  6. The long legged ballerinas of rhythmic gymnastics are the most beautiful women in Olympic and just about any other sport. Especially when compared to the stumpy little, musclebound, boy like tumblers and apparatus female gymnasts.

  7. Speaking of rythmic gymnastics: the other portion of this sport utilizes a hoop (resembles a hula hoop) instead of a ball.

Check it out online; it really is amazing what these gals can do with the hoop.
