Moroccans invade Spain — 24 Comments

  1. ELON MUSK: “The reason I went so hardcore for Trump was because, to me, this was a fork in the road. If they had another four years, they would legalize enough illegals in the swing states to make the swing states not swing states, they would be blue states. Then they would win.”

Sanchez of Spain, whom Musk has called a traitor, knows this math. So do the Socialist/Communist Parties of all Western countries including the US.

My family had a business in Spain with 400 employees going back to Franco so I am quite familiar with Spanish politics. A huge portion of Sanchez supporters would fit right into our DSA. They hate Spain and want the people replaced. They say so openly. They hide nothing.

  2. “The guard of a legitimate king is composed of citizens: that of a tyrant is composed of foreigners. It is a habit of tyrants to prefer the company of aliens to that of citizens at table and in society; citizens, they feel, are enemies, but aliens will offer no opposition.”

    -Aristotle

  3. @neo: One more thing: Spain has been a target from the Muslim world for a long time – a target in the sense of its having once been a Muslim land, although that ended in 1492 with the Reconquista. But once a Muslim land, always a Muslim land, according to a large faction of Muslims.

Indeed. Back in the post-9-11 days I noticed Bin Laden’s first video after 9-11:

Let the whole world know that we shall never accept that the tragedy of Andalucia would be repeated in Palestine. We cannot accept that Palestine will become Jewish.

I do recall that video but I can’t find a more substantive source today.

First we retake Palestine, then we retake Spain!

  4. Tousi TV this afternoon had videos of the invasion. As he wryly noted all the “women and children” in the invasion. The video showed nothing but 20-30 year old males.

  5. Most Euorpean countries today are pushing back against Islam or Islamism.

Here’s the French entryism effort, clearly targeting Islam:
    ____________________________

France has completed the investigation America has yet to undertake. In May 2025, the French Interior Ministry published “The Muslim Brotherhood and Political Islam in France,” the product of a mission assigned to senior officials a year earlier. The inquiry examined political Islam, the Muslim Brotherhood’s role in spreading it, and the movement’s connections with affiliated European networks. French authorities concluded that the danger extended beyond jihadist violence. They described an assiduous campaign to acquire influence within the ordinary institutions of French life.

Several European countries have laws concerning the Muslim required dress for women.

Maybe it’s too little, too late but Europeans are trying to thread the needle between Western freedom and Islamist infiltration.

  6. Looking at the map, the obvious solution is for Spain to sell or cede Ceuta to Morocco. Swallow your pride and get rid of the problem immediately. All of those men will suddenly find out that they never left home. What to do with Spaniards living there is a problem which requires some clever thinking.

  7. I found a direct news transcript for the Bin Laden quote I presented earlier:
    _________________________

Oct. 7 — This is an uncorrected transcript of a translation from Arabic to English of Osama bin Laden’s response to the start of military action against the Taliban in Afghanistan. This statement by bin Laden, videotaped prior to the beginning of the military action, appeared on Al-Jazeera, the Arabic satellite station.

Let the whole world know that we shall never accept that the tragedy of Andalucia (ph) would be repeated in Palestine. We cannot accept that Palestine will becomeJewish.

  8. ”…the obvious solution is for Spain to sell or cede Ceuta to Morocco. Swallow your pride and get rid of the problem immediately.”

    NO, NO, NO, NO, NO!!!

Why is it that, when faced with a violent enemy, the first reaction of some people is to give that enemy everything he wants?

  9. Why is it that, when faced with a violent enemy, the first reaction of some people is to give that enemy everything he wants?
    ==
Well, it’s the well being of the people of Ceuta at stake. It’s not as if it’s something important like how the Red Sox are doing this season.

  10. “One day, millions of men will leave the Southern Hemisphere to go to the Northern Hemisphere. And they will not go there as friends. Because they will go there to conquer it. And they will conquer it with their sons. The wombs of our women will give us victory.” Algerian leader Houari Boumedienne speaking at the UN, 1974

  11. 1 out of 4 people on this planet is a Muslim and their numbers are growing, although I wonder how the ChiComs forced actions at turning the Chinese Muslims into Atheist works into that.

    Let that sink in.

  12. I’m so old that I can remember when immigration was a California problem and we passed Prop. 187 to deal with it and it was struck down.

Now every state is a border state and the entire west has a problem.

The hard times that soft men create are coming, fast.

  13. @ physicsguy > “The video showed nothing but 20-30 year old males.”

    Sounds familiar.

From Neo’s link to the NYPost:

Ceuta’s president estimated Friday that around 60,000 people had crossed by sea and land from Morocco over the past 24 hours — a sea of humanity representing [AF: equaling] nearly 70% of Ceuta’s population of 85,000.

Spain’s Interior Ministry, meanwhile, estimated that about 50,000 migrants had crossed the border – but in a stunning reversal by 6 p.m. Friday, 48,300 had already returned home.

Why the sudden decision by so many people to come in one day?
Was the surge organized deliberately (no traffickers seem to be profiting by it).

Ayoub El Abyad, a 16-year-old from Morocco, said he decided to try his luck with his cousin after seeing Instagram videos showing migrants crossing into Ceuta.

Another Moroccan migrant traveling with his wife and young daughter told the Times of London on condition of anonymity that he got a phone call that morning alerting him the border with Ceuta was open.

Collusion with Moroccan authorities, just causing trouble?

A Moroccan migrant in a ragged Gucci hat told the New York Times that the surge was due to “no work” available in Morocco, and speculated the government might have loosened the border into Spanish territory as a political pressure move.

“I don’t know why they let us through. Maybe they had some political reason. They opened the border and let everyone go by,” he told the outlet.

Several migrants claimed to the New York Times that Moroccan authorities had encouraged them to cross into Ceuta.”

Sounds a lot like the South American countries pushing their people to go North, but the Moroccans didn’t have that long a trip.
As one of the young men implied, it was more of a short impromptu tourist-y excursion than a considered immigration attempt.

  14. It looks similar to the “youth” mobs that overwhelm public spaces and stores that is loosely organized via social media that goes viral. I wouldn’t be surprised if there was a political/intelligence actor behind the “loosely” organized and I’d guess someone knows who that is.

  15. By the way, you have the construction of the border fence taking 802 years. Even for government work this seems excessive.

  16. A test or a feint, it still provided great video/optics for the Trump “control our border” message, along with (potentially??) kicking the EU or European states into more realistic policy planning?

I remain a little skeptical of the reported EU response, as Woke/DEI (and Islamism) seems to be hanging on there really well still, but we have been hearing more and more about an underground swelling of resistance to their current migration and migrants’ behaviors.

  17. Definitely a designed operation.
Who, or why, is still open.
Any intelligence ageny worth its funding should be looking into this.
Of course, the border was NOT open, officially anyway.

    Report this morning:
    https://apnews.com/article/ceuta-spain-morocco-migration-f3a7f514a7792c39d8b8d5d814fa5158

In the northern Moroccan city of Larache, about 93 miles (150 kilometers) from Ceuta, three friends watched a video posted by an Instagram account called Haraga Ceuta claiming the border would be open. Haraga refers in Moroccan dialect to young migrants who destroy their identification papers and try crossing illegally into Europe.

For migrants hoping to reach Spanish territory, the most common route begins in Fnideq, where many attempt the roughly 3-mile (5-kilometer) swim around the border breakwater. Others leave from the nearby village of Belyounech.

One TikTok video mapped the exact route swimmers should follow.

On Facebook groups such as Fnideq Bab Sebta, users shared screenshots from vessel-tracking platforms to identify moments when coast guard patrols appeared lighter. Some sought advice on using inflatable boats. Others advertised wetsuits for sale.

“I saw online that the border was open, and I decided to go,” said 17-year-old Omar Danbor from Fnideq, walking back exhausted along the coast.

It’s unclear who was behind the claims that the border was open or who operated many of the social media accounts, several of which were deleted soon after the crossings. The Associated Press contacted several accounts but received no response.

Advice to would-be migrants: don’t believe everything you read online.
