Cognizant is the company that seems to be most named in these lawsuits. They seem to regard this as a cost of doing business which does not materially affect their ability to profit from supplying H1Bs to replace American workers, since I know they’ve been sued over this at least as far back as 2013:
The most recent research, by the Bay Area Council, showed nearly 60,000 foreign citizens on the H-1B were approved to work for Bay Area companies in 2019. The vast majority are from India.
Because of Cognizant’s preference for Indian workers, it seeks as many visas as possible, and the company has become a top recipient of H-1B visas by submitting visa applications tied to “jobs that do not exist,” the lawsuit alleged.
Rules for the H-1B require companies applying for it to have a job the visa holder will fill, Hira noted. Obtaining visas for non-existent jobs “crowds out companies that are looking for the one real worker that they want,” Hira said.
Piroumian, a highly experienced software engineer, started at Cognizant in 2012 and “was repeatedly removed from positions servicing Cognizant clients prematurely and replaced with less qualified, Indian … employees,” the lawsuit alleged. In mid-2017, the company “benched” him, then, following company policy to terminate employees after more than five weeks on the bench, fired him six weeks later, the lawsuit claimed.
Cox, also with decades of experience, started at Cognizant in 2014, and was benched in January 2017, the lawsuit said. He interviewed for several open roles in the company, but “less qualified Indian … employees were selected,” and he was fired while benched that April, the lawsuit alleged.
Palmer, hired in 2012, had not been benched, but also was “repeatedly removed” from projects and replaced with Indian workers, including after a forced transfer from Tucson, Arizona to California, and after another transfer requested by Cognizant from California to Phoenix, the lawsuit alleged.
Palmer also claimed she was deliberately excluded from most team meetings, and the few times she was invited, Indian managers would turn their backs on her when she spoke, the lawsuit claimed. She alleged that discrimination and a hostile work environment forced her to resign in 2016.
Franchitti, with a PhD in computer science, was hired in 2007, and in his nine years at Cognizant as a director an executive, witnessed the company’s preference for Indians on visas, the lawsuit claimed. When he secured new business for the company, his manager “would staff the client projects with visa-holding employees from India, rather than non-Indian members of Mr. Franchitti’s group who were already in the U.S. and available for this work,” the lawsuit alleged.
Franchitti was fired in 2016 after complaining repeatedly that he was being made to sign hundreds of fraudulent invitation letters supporting H-1B visa applications for jobs that didn’t exist, the lawsuit claimed.
The allegedly fraudulent letters are part of Cognizant’s scheme to secure vast numbers of H-1B visas and build a “robust inventory” of Indian nationals to be placed in U.S. companies when opportunities arise, the lawsuit alleged.

To make things even more difficult, from what I can see, these days, you can get almost any kind of fake credentials—metal badges of various sorts, I.D. cards, various certificates certifying that you have achieved this or that level of training or accomplishment in a field, gotten this or that award, have graduated from some college or university, or attained this or that military rank, had this military training, service record, assignment, or awards–by buying fake documents, or a fake DD-214 from some unethical seller on the Internet.
So, again, how can you be pretty sure that–among others– the Police, FBI, Congressional, Military, NSA, or CIA badge/credentials someone flashes at you are real?

According to reports, over the last couple of weeks the U.S. has attacked and presumably destroyed thousands of different targets in Iran–destroyed most of the major ships in their Navy, destroyed any number of smaller Iranian naval vessels, destroyed a good part of their Air Force, severely degraded their radars, anti-aircraft, and anti-missile defenses, destroyed innumerable missile launch sites and missile production and storage facilities, plus some nuclear facilities, killed many key leaders and members of the IRGC, killed off their Supreme Leader and reportedly gravely wounded his successor, plus killed off the top couple of layers of their leadership.
If all of the above is generally correct, my question is, refraining from attacking any targets which would have major negative impacts on the general population of Iran–for instance, not targeting major population centers, collapsing their electrical grid, or water distribution systems, what–of any major military or political importance–is there left for the U.S. to attack and destroy?

I’d suggest we begin with another question for purposes of orientation and to build upon a mutual agreement: to what end attack? For what strategic purpose or war aim? For I assume we have such a thing and don’t expect to act in making war or attack Iran just for nothing, or for shits and giggles, as that saying goes. AesopFan–In trying to do research on and to understand the subjects of UFOs and NHIs you will discover that these areas are basically a mass of confusion, disinformation, of competing ideas and narratives, and petty squabbles among various individuals pushing their particular ideas and narratives.
Moreover, it appears that the government–in trying very successfully to cover up this subject and it’s activities in dealing with these things–has fostered this situation, thrown enough chaff into the air, laid enough false trials leading nowhere, made UFOs and those who report their experiences with them a subject of ridicule, apparently intimidated and shut down enough people who appear to actually know something, that it is almost impossible to get any definitive answers or any clarity.

Along the way, and to make things even more complex and confusing, you also stumble into other subjects, which might also be connected, like the CIA’s MK-Ultra project, and people/witnesses who say that, in the past, the government had been trying to find children who had potential psychic abilities, had gathered them together, and “trained” them in it’s own special “school,” which has left it’s mark.
All this making you wonder, just how much else is “out there,” just waiting for some researcher to stumble upon it.

According to reports, over the last couple of weeks the U.S. has attacked and presumably destroyed thousands of different targets in Iran–destroyed most of the major ships in their Navy, destroyed any number of smaller Iranian naval vessels, destroyed a good part of their Air Force, severely degraded their radars, anti-aircraft, and anti-missile defenses, destroyed innumerable missile launch sites and missile production and storage facilities, plus some nuclear facilities, killed many key leaders and members of the IRGC, killed off their Supreme Leader and reportedly gravely wounded his successor, plus killed off the top couple of layers of their leadership.
If all of the above is generally correct, my question is, refraining from attacking any targets which would have major negative impacts on the general population of Iran–for instance, not targeting major population centers, collapsing their electrical grid, or water distribution systems, what–of any major military or political importance–is there left for the U.S. to attack and destroy?

I’d suggest we begin with another question for purposes of orientation and to build upon a mutual agreement: to what end attack? For what strategic purpose or war aim? For I assume we have such a thing and don’t expect to act in making war or attack Iran just for nothing, or for shits and giggles, as that saying goes. Along the way, and to make things even more complex and confusing, you also stumble into other subjects, which might also be connected, like the CIA’s MK-Ultra project, and people/witnesses who say that, in the past, the government had been trying to find children who had potential psychic abilities, had gathered them together, and “trained” them in it’s own special “school,” which has left it’s mark.
All this making you wonder, just how much else is “out there,” just waiting for some researcher to stumble upon it.
