  1. I liked dark skies a prequel to the x files set in the early 60s with the apocryphal magestic 12 organization

They suggested project blue book was a feint maybe it was
    It

  2. Such honest tearing up, with unshed tears. The emotional ones of the three types:
What Are The 3 Types of Tears?
Basal Tears – keep eyes wet
    Emotional Tears – emotions
Reflex Tears – response to dirt, makeup, onions; cleaning out crap.

Had this guy been an actor, acting, he’d have given an oscar perfromance.

Parents who can’t sleep well knowing their child is in danger.

(I’m not like that, and I’m sometimes sad about not being so emotionally attached.)

  3. Snow,

Very interesting review, thanks for the link. Sounds like Spielberg decided to use the whole topic as a vehicle to just to be a morality lesson…..very woke nonsense. I’ll skip this movie. Sounds like not on par with Close Encounters

  4. An effort to get through. I imagine this video was made 25 or 30 years ago.

  5. Barry Meislin;

African Swallows, equisitely trained of course, moved that stone, just a minor step up from coconuts.

Another case of lost advanced skills our ancestors utilized.

  6. Interesting

I found AI not particularly engaging even 25 years later have they seem to have lost the ability to make a good film
    Rhetorical

They re aired close encounters last night? I didnt remember when they included the flight crew that went on the mothership

Many scenes were left out because columbias financial position

    Miguel will not use punctuation.

Good luck trying to convince him. I gave up trying to convince him years ago.

  8. As the pace of various disclosures concerning UFOs and NHIs accelerates and broadens, a number of people in the know are starting to reveal more of what they know.

Yesterday, it was David Grusch, on the Capitol steps, saying that the U.S. government was aware of a number of different “species” of NHIs–ranging from humanoid bipedal forms to sentient plasma entities.

    Now there is this.

From what I have observed, highly educated, very well informed, and thoughtful French astronomer and computer scientist Jacques Vallee—a deep, subtle, and unconventional thinker who has been studying the UFO phenomenon for some 30-40 years–has, up until now, been very careful about publicly revealing what he knows.

Now, in the linked discussion, he almost casually reveals that he is aware of efforts taking place in various laboratories in which human researchers–in some sort of contact with NHIs–are trying to develop a high level language to facilitate communication with them.

Says Vallee, “there is obviously a huge cultural impact coming.”*

  9. You won’t believe this.
    (Or maybe you will…)

“Merkel Receives The First European Order Of Merit Award, Repeats Call For Crackdown On Free Speech”—
    https://www.zerohedge.com/political/merkel-receives-first-european-order-merit-award-repeats-call-crackdown-free-speech

…after all, it was Merkel who set the stage—confidentially and triumphantly—for the insane policies of self-destruction in Germany, in particular, and Europe, generally.

And so, an award well deserved…

  10. AesopFan–It does seem that–this time–the powers that be in this area will not be able to just shove the whole UFO/NHI issue back down the “memory hole,” as they have so successfully done in past decades.

As of now, our state of public knowledge about these issues is far far, better and more detailed than it was, say, just a decade ago.

One of the major problems, though, is that is seems increasingly likely that the UFO phenomenon and NHIs include other–less palatable aspects–things like abductions, cattle mutilations, crop circles?, and a whole host of psi phenomena–its all apparently connected–and these more “out there” aspects are harder to accept as being real.

If these things are, indeed, “real,” Vallee is correct to predict a “huge cultural impact,” as the protective walls of our “consensus reality” are pushed far far outward from where they currently stand.

It seems to me, though, that the greatest cultural and psychological impact, will be in discovering that we are not at the top of the totem pole, and perhaps not the “apex predators” we fancy ourselves to be.

  11. Oh noes, cattle mutilations, crop circles, and pressure units (psi phenomenon). Why not the Flat Earth too?

PT Barnum on display, a new unicorn every minute.

  12. P.S. I note that a lot of the commentary about human interactions with these entities operates on the assumption–not that whatever they are doing violates our air spaces, our lands and seas, human beings, and our Rights–but that we should view all of their activities with empathy and understanding, essentially moving over, with little complaint, as they occupy the spaces we formerly occupied, and as they do with us what they will.

I don’t think that that is the posture we should take.

This is our Earth, these are our lands and seas, our people, and they should not be
just trampled on by some Aliens.

I don’t believe that the human race will appreciate being “taken down a peg or two.”

I am hoping that the programs attempting the reverse engineering of captured alien technology are firmly directed towards putting us humans on a more equal footing vis-a-vis whatever these entities might be.

It could be that we humans are totally outclassed, but I’m hoping that this is not actually the case.

  13. Actually, it just occurred to me that there may be some parallels between how some people want to enthusiastically welcome our “space brothers,” and what has recently happened with the invasion of Europe by millions of “immigrants” or “asylum seekers” from vastly different and often hostile cultures.

The image which prompted this thought was one I saw several years ago, of a bunch of obviously excited—almost jumping up and down–Scandinavian women holding up “Welcome” signs as immigrants stepped off boats or aircraft.

Fast forward several years, and many native women in Europe now cower in their homes, afraid to go out in public, to walk the public streets, for fear of being attacked or raped by some of the immigrants they so enthusiastically welcomed into their countries—and some of them, their homes–a few short years ago.

  14. Cicero: Miguel- work on your English !

He has, and he’s easier to read now.

  15. Taking off from Camus’ statement about suicide, see below what I consider to be an extraordinary statement by Harvard Professor Avi Loeb, about how the search for higher level intelligent life in the Galaxy could add the missing meaning to our lives.*

  16. I think it’s pretty damn obvious that this invasion and growing replacement of the native populations of Europe by often inassimilable, often hostile immigrants was no accident or unintended consequence, this was something which was very deliberately planned, and those responsible for it look like they have and will get away Scott free, with no punishment at all.

  17. Snow on Pine:

Speak for yourself in having to yearn for Unicorns to find meaning in your life.
