The murder of Henry Nowak: outrageous — 40 Comments

  1. East Asians can murder the indigenous English and police will cuff the indigenous as he exsanguinates and suffocates.

    Rue Brittania.

  2. East Indians. Orientals not implicated here.
    ==
The scandal is that he told them he’d been stabbed, he was bleeding from various wounds, and the principal officer on duty pretended he was faking it. The degree of contemptuous negligence in all that merits prosecution.
    ==
Bring in an outside pathologist. I wouldn’t trust the government pathologist to tell the frank truth in a case like this.
    ==
You see in this case the actual motors of DEI. Everyone in the chain of command between these officers and the police board should be fired. That’s step one to cleaning up that force. By the way, the Hampshire County Council has a majority composed of Conservative and Reform deputies. From 1983 to 2026 it was controlled by the Conservative Party. The Isle of Wight Council as a Liberal Democratic majority, as does the Portsmouth City Council. The Southampton City Council has a Labor majority. About 10% of the population of the jurisdiction lives in Southampton, about 8% in Portsmouth, and about 7% on the Isle of Wight.

  3. Another oddity to which Laurence Fox has called attention in other loci. About 78% of the population of Portsmouth is white British. About 4% are subcontinentals. The mayor is named ‘Abdul Khadir’.

  4. In Great Britain “East Asians” refers to those from the Indian subcontinent (India, Pakistan, Bangaledesh) from what was the Jewel of the Crown.

Not to those from Hong Kong, China, Burma, Malaysia.

And most certainly not those of the Nepalese Gurkas IIRC.

Mr. Stabby Stabby is a Sikh FWIW.

    21 foot rule, it’s lethal.

  5. Nowack wasn’t stabbed with the small kerpin knife that is required, he was stabbed with a shastar, an 8 inch dagger. The shastar is not a strict religious requirement.

  6. About 78% of the population of Portsmouth is white British. About 4% are subcontinentals. The mayor is named ‘Abdul Khadir’.

I know all of one person from Portsmouth. She’s whiter than me, despite having some African American ancestry (American GI WWII), very left wing and seems to think that white people are the worst thing that ever happened to the world. So there you go.

  7. I’m not an expert in anatomy, but I believe the fatal wound described in the article is one of a small number of stabbing points that are reasonably well known to be fatal. A vein behind the collar bone, was the description. Whether Mr. Digwa knew this or not, we don’t know. But he might well have known.

  8. FWIW, the Sikh religious obligation can be met by a small, 2-inch ceremonial knife worn as a pendant on a necklace, which Digwa was wearing. The murder weapon was an 8-inch blade, carried in addition to his religious knife, and (if the UK’s knife control laws are in place) illegal for anyone to carry. I know they want to ban all sort of knives, but I am not sure if they have enacted those laws or not. Regardless, the ceremonial religious knife exemption was already met by the tiny dagger around his neck. He had no obligation to carry the larger knife.

  9. Sikh knives: ” I think that’s a red herring. It’s not the knives themselves. It’s the killer. The knife discussion is similar to the gun discussion in which a focus is on the weapon, as though the knife itself is an agent. It’s not”

Precisely. There are many, many kinds of objects that can be used to kill someone.

The fetish on the object has now reached the point when NY state is trying to require 3D printers to include software that would prevent them from printing guns. California apparently has the same idea. And there are apparently intentions of extending this insanity to CNC machine tools (milling machines, lathes) as well as 3D printers

  10. There were riots in the streets of Southhampton today since the video of Nowak dying was released.

  11. I think that’s a red herring.

Well, yes and no. If you were familiar with the wearing of the kerpin, you might wonder how anyone could be fatally stabbed with it. I certainly did. Knowing that it was a dagger cleared up the mystery.

  12. This is symbolic of Western Civilization’s suicide: favoritism of “the browns” to remedy past white (civilisizing) misbehaviours.

  13. “Maybe he thought running away would implicate him, and he was gambling that his lies would work to set the scene”

Yep, his “gambling” was possibly based on past experiences in that claiming the “white guy” was a racist and everyone will believe you.

Sadly, this happens far too often; and in the US as well as the UK.

And for what it is worth – young Henry’s last words included “I can’t breathe.” And he died possibly believing that he was thought of as a criminal rather than a victim.

  14. Regarding the ceremonial Sikh dagger, even if that had been the weapon which it was not, the United Kingdom has nothing corresponding to our First Amendment and indeed it has a state religion headed by one King Charles, which it was once illegal to dissent from. There is nothing constraining Parliament from changing the law to restrict Sikhs from carrying ceremonial weapons or redefining what it is legal for them to carry.

  15. Thanks, Neo. The judge’s statement cleared up a lot of questions that I had from reading other news stories about the tragic incident.

  16. In the UK Sikhs get a legal exception for carrying a kirpin, a knife usually 3-6 inches long, but can be longer:

    https://www.sikhnet.com/news/sikhs-uk-are-allowed-keep-large-kirpans

Though schools and colleges are allowed to reduce the size. I understand the UK is now reconsidering that exemption.

A shame. I thought Sikhs were more sensible than Muslims.

BTW the Nowak murder occurred December 3, 2025. Apparently it is the release of the bodycam footage which sparked the current, totally understandable outrage.

  17. Indira Gandhi was murdered by two of her Sikh bodyguards.

Also, see “Operation Blue Star,” and the events leading up to it. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Operation_Blue_Star

Sikhs are no different — and no better — than Muslims in their willingness to use terror and violence to achieve their political and religious ends.

  18. FWIW:

    ____________________________________________

The jury convicted Digwa of murder on 28 May 2026. Digwa’s mother, Kiran Kaur, was found guilty of assisting an offender. The judge rejected Digwa’s accusations that Nowak had physically or racially abused him. Digwa received a life sentence with a minimum term of 21 years.

  19. Om: In Britain people who are from the Indian subcontinent are referred to simply as Asian, not East Asian

  20. @ David Foster:
The New York law requires any device that can be used to build something based on a file to ask for permission from the state. That means 3D printers, yes, but any other computer controlled CNC or milling machines or whatever else.

Note that some manufacturers are ahead of the game, having noticed the attempts to sue gun manufacturers for unlawful use of their products, and consequently already sell devices that need cracked if you don’t want to ask permission from the company, and updated their legacy devices to do so as well.

Note also that the restriction to firearms is an obvious wedge in the door; it’s only a matter of time before such a restriction will include various lobbyist wish lists, from IP infringing (and IP adjacent) miniatures to out-of-production (but not out of copyright or trademark) components for… whatever.

  21. It appears that Britain is better than the USA at providing a “speedy” trial.

    And it gets worse:
“ The live streams just went dark.

British citizens protesting the death of Henry Nowak. YouTube shut them down mid-broadcast. Starmer’s government is actively censoring protests about a child who died in police handcuffs while his killer walked free.”

  23. Britain has decreed that the right of favored people to kill disfavored people remains unimpaired.

This quoted tweet cuts to the bottom-line:
    “Don Keith @RealDonKeith
?The dumbass government of Keir Starmer said they are not looking into the issue of Sikh ceremonial knives because they agree with the judge who said it only became a murder weapon when it was unsheathed by Vikram Digwa when he killed Henry Nowak.

Isn’t that the case for every blade on the planet?

So do Christians now get to carry sheathed blades in public?

These people are the dumbest on the planet..”

    A commenter added:
“Can’t this be said of any object that can be used to kill someone, including guns?”

  24. A few days after solemnly pledging to help Make America Great Again, Canada’s scoundrel PM again tries his hand at some dry, if not-so-subtle, humour…but—truth to tell—falls a bit flat…

Not to agonize too, too much, though: it’s intentional. (Carney’s merely trying to out-Keir Keir Starmer for mastery of passive aggressive flippancy…

  25. Another outrage, added to a mountain of other outrages, inching the UK closer and closer to Civil War.

  26. I have close family in London. They ask me often why I don’t visit them. It is not the physical danger as much as it the fact I have absolutely the same rights in London as Jew in Mamdani’s NYC – not many. I spend my money and time where it is welcome and I don’t feel welcome in the UK, Nothing against Europe – I was stationed in, lived in, went to school in Germany, had a large business in Spain and I have a sister in Milan.

By the way the politician to the Right of Nigel Farage is Rupert Lowe of “Restore Britain” – his son just married a Muslim in a Halal wedding. Farage is a RINO. That’s the best they got.

Trump just allow unlimited immigration to white Brits like he did the white South Africans.

  27. To give the male cop who said “No.” a potential break. Perhaps he is a human being. But he would know his superiors are not. Had he shown the least concern for Nowak and the Sikh had complained of not being believed because he was not white, the cop’s superiors would have had another case of RACISM!!!to fondle to their heart, screwing over the cop to show their multiculti creds even more obviously. The corporate, informal atmosphere of what passes for the police station would have had an implication that the bigs were looking for something like this….and it had better not be you, buddy.

  28. One of the police officers has been allowed to resign, and the other three are still on duty, pending the results of an “investigation” now in its seventh month, which so far has uncovered no evidence of wrongdoing by the police (according to the Guardian). Richard Aubrey is right. It’s not only these four officers, but the entire police force from the top down which should be removed and replaced — if any sensible Brits could be found to take the jobs.

  29. I stand connected, facing East. Oceania lost its soul years ago but has never been at war with Britannia.

  30. The advocates of deconstructionism and all its awful offspring such as decolonialism, diversity/equity/inclusion, cultural marxism and the like have succeeded in transforming the nations of The West into cuckolds to the darker-skinned nations of what was once known quite accurately as “The Orient.” It is the same all over. Here in the USA we have been cuckoded into believing that we, who have never known chattel slavery either as master or slave are guilty of some generational crime for which we must be punished. In Europe, they have been cuckolded into believing that they are guilty of the generational crime of colonialism, despite haveing shed all colonial possession decades ago. The darker skinned residents have been placed on a pedastal where they enjoy an elevated status compared to the indigenous populations. And who placed them there? The politicians who sought their votes to acquire and retain power. And how can the empedastaled minorities hold such sway? Because the cuckolded populations voted for the politicians who set this system up. Thus, the comparison to a cuckolded husband is entirely apt. But it is not infrequently the case that the cuckold reacts violently, with the result that both the wife and her lover meet an untimely end. That may be our best hope for a future for our own posterity, but it is not a path that is without a terrible price to pay.

  31. The British police are just awful and have been extremely woke for the past several years.
Sikhs are usually pretty law abiding so that cretin is most likely an outlier but still this is shocking to read.

  32. ” The knife discussion is similar to the gun discussion in which a focus is on the weapon, as though the knife itself is an agent.”
I always enjoy the liberal response to murder. If the person was shot, they denounce gun violence and want to ban or confiscate guns. If the person was stabbed, they denounce knife violence and want to ban or confiscate knives. If the person was killed by a blunt object, they denounce blunt object violence and want to confiscate or ban blunt objects. No more 2X4s for you. If the person was run over, they denounce automobile violence and want to ban or confiscate cars, especially those assault cars like Ferraris or Lamborghinis. After all, nobody needs a car that can go 150 MPH.

  33. Keir’s Britain:

“Hampshire police claim that Henry Nowak would have died anyway, regardless of whether he was handcuffed or not.”—
    https://instapundit.com/801165/

    The man’s an absolute maniac.

Might the Royals, um, take note?
Or, hey, maybe they agree with that “governing” goon—that unscrupulous loon—and his pathetic party of self-righteous, self-congratulatory, virtue-signaling monsters…)

File under: “But those girls would have been raped anyway….”

  34. I think this goes back to stephen lawrence thirty some years ago a heinous crime by a bunch of punks but it gave the left the opportunity to create the two teer system of justice because ‘institutional racism’ or some such

As with many policies that the blair era institutionalized like the hungerford gun grab the tories did not reverse and the left continued to steamroll innocent citizens, rochdale and rotherdam are typical

A charles napier would be much appreciated in these parts but groveling seems to the currency of the realm eg: mark rowley

The atabbing in texas seems to be of a piece with this

The inmates are firmly in control of the asylum and are dictating terms

Oxford Union president said Hamas would be ‘lauded as heroes’ https://share.google/cxW4NUQIQ6jtQoKS5

  35. AI in a question What percentage of foreigners live in England gave me %16.8 answer yesterday.
The British government is like our Leftists governments are out to protect foreigners and criminals.

  36. > Might the Royals, um, take note?

The ones they have _now_? Not likely. Or if they’ve noticed, they don’t care.
