  1. I thought that meant the Farallon Islands off the coast of San Francisco. They don’t look like that.

    Never mind. 🙂

  2. So after last weekend’s mean girl, vulgar display by Megyn Kelly, I’m still checking in each morning on her Youtube channel. Not once has she addressed the dustup, nor has she dealt with anything political….it’s been all Nancy Guthrie all week. I guess that’s now a safer topic somehow. That story is so out of the news (I think poor Mrs Guthrie is long dead unfortunately), so it seems Megyn is retreating into obscurity.

  3. Art Deco,

It’s not a job; it’s a volunteer organization. As my wife and I have had over 20 dogs during our marriage, and my wife is part of the National Icelandic Sheepdog Rescue Alliance (https://nationalicelandicsheepdogrescuealliance.org/), I don’t see what your problem is with such activity. Much like the pilots who volunteer to fly kids and their families to cancer treatment centers. And if I was still an active GA pilot with my own plane, it’s something I would definitely consider doing.

  4. Re Nancy Guthrie, the local sheriff has said that they have some idea of the motive, and warned residents to be on guard. It’s quite a mystery. I think something is rotten in Tuscon.

  5. You might remember the image of a female FBI agent, shown fumbling as she tried to holster her weapon at Butler, PA as President Trump was being hustled into a car and safety.

According to the linked article, this woman, one Myosoti Perez, was also reportedly one of the Agents who failed to secure the rooftop used by the assassin.

The article also reports that President Trump has said that he wants her nowhere near him.

Now, it turns out that, some months ago, she married a foreign woman, and didn’t tell the FBI about it until just recently, a women whose immigration status is being investigated.

This has reportedly resulted in her third suspension in the last year and a half.

Why the hell is this woman still an FBI agent, and not out on the street, looking for another line of work?*

  6. Is Trump about to take Kharg Island? Or land troops to scoop out Iranian emplacements to launch misses, drones, and floating minds along the Straits of Hormuz?

We don’t know. But we do know that in addition to the Tripoli, the ISS New Orleans, and another Marine Expeditionary Unit with 2,200 aboard the USS Boxer, based in San Diego, is being sent to Hormuz. This makes around 8,000 ground troops with possible deployments in or immediately near Iran.

YouTuber RJ Talks states that the Tripoli’s arrival is imminent at an6 time this weekend (ahead of my estimate of Tuesday or Wednesday). Listen to RJs take from 7m to the end at 15m, for further details https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v5WPc3osRJo

In addition to the many usual outlets sharing the Boxer’s deployment, Star &Stripes recounts these developments, too. https://www.stripes.com/branches/marine_corps/2026-03-20/more-marines-uss-boxer-deployment-iran-21129893.html

  7. On Thursday, The Daily Signal’s 11m geopolitical assessment by Victor Davis Hanson was posted online. “How Trump’s Actions Are Reshaping the Global Order.” The description:

“President Donald Trump has been the catalyst for a lot of the world’s current upheaval—Iranian threat decimated, Donroe Doctrine enforced in Latin America—and both members of his base and his opponents are making sure we know he’s to blame.

“Three quarters of these conflicts, however, are reaching a resolution, explains Victor Davis Hanson on today’s episode of ‘Victor Davis Hanson: ‘In a Few Words.’

“‘There is a good chance they could turn out with the United States in a preeminent position that we haven’t seen since at least World War II.’” https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=twruN0B3ytg

An AI Summary posted at FreeRepublic — scroll DOWN— drew me to listen to VDH. https://freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/4371564/posts

His early assessment of Trump II foreign policy is to suggest that it could make President Reagan’s achievements look minor by comparison. Shocking? Or maybe Epic?
