I have a case of TDS to share, actually the flip side of over the top admiration for figures on her team. A youthful, attractive childless 64 year old Jewish woman who lives in Boca Raton FL but I knew her when she lived in the Bay Area. She lived in Israel for a number of years and was married to a really nice, quiet Israeli man who tragically took his own life maybe twenty years ago.
When Timpon Walz was picked as Kamala’s running mate she posted a pic on FB of him hugging a puppy. I pointed out that his love of dogs had nothing to do as to whether or not he would be a good VP or even a good guy, and mentioned that Uncle Dolf was an animal lover. Needless to say she was not pleased.
I then mentioned that I found it laughable that as one who lived in Israel and was married to an Israeli man that she had a fanatical loyalty to the party that includes the student nutjobs chanting “to the river to the sea.” She told me my views were warped and dangerous, not that we ever discussed them, came up with some explanation for her choice of team, trashed Bibi, told me I knew nothing, and unfriended me.
Sometime later she posted as her profile pic a pic of Dementia Joe looking dashing in sunglasses and with a blue Star of David on his abdomen. And then when I looked again some months later her profile pic was of Zelensky with the words “Leader of the free world.” She also had at one point the pic of the Statue of Liberty with tears.
I just checked and her profile pic is of herself in younger days, looking good.
It is beyond me why anyone, let alone Republicans, care about Narco Terrorist. They are running drugs that destroy people. So Congress is considering something about the War Powers Act? Why? Are you getting a cut of the drug action?

Thanks for the update on Mamdani’s appointments. I have a nephew who is NYPD and am concerned about him. The rest of his family have retreated to NC, but he and his wife are expecting so moving right now may not be the best choice. they live on the Island, so maybe he could transfer to Nassau county PD if he doesn’t want to move.

I am appalled by the arrogant people who act like the illegal drug influx only hurts those involved directly.
Blaming & shaming America’s appetite in order to paint the suppliers — including cartels — as just doing a job, filling a need.

Like many issues, I see the best approach as “working it from all sides”.
Lessening the supply is akin to plugging the holes of a leaky — or flooding — boat.
