The wikipedia entry on the actor Peter Sarsgaard lists his work to include “Dead Men Walking.” Not to wish ill on Peter Smirk, but Peter does have a lot to answer for.
I completely disagree, respectfully. Gary doesn’t have a look of contempt. I can’t put into words what the difference is, but you can see it.
Kalneva:
Oh, I agree that there’s a huge difference in personality, just huge. And that is reflected in many ways, including expression. But they look alike to me, feature-wise.
I wish Gary Sinise had more, better roles. He was good as Lt. Dan in Gump, but that flim was so treacly I don’t think I can watch it again.
Maybe he did better with television. Didn’t see any of his work there except “The Stand” miniseries.

Gary Sinise has much the same aw-shucks, American appeal as Tom Hanks. Yet Sinise’s career went nowhere near Hanks’s trajectory.
Did Sinise lack some It quality or did he miss a super-breakout role?
Hard to say, of course, but I must also wonder to what extent Hollywood might have suppressed his possibilities due to his politics.

That’s an INSULT TO GARY SINISE!
I’d go with this guy. (can’t seem to get a photo in here)
