Conning the world

Perfect! And I didn’t know Caroline could get down like that in addition to being a good writer, analyst, and a captain in the IDF. These people all probably have day jobs.
The U.S. has a sure-fire strategy for destroying Hamas and their terrorist brethren: bury them under a pile of rapidly shrinking dollars.
Henning Mankel, an author beloved here in Germany, passed up book tour stops in Zurich and Constance to take part in the flotilla. (I bet it helps book sales.) He apparently will flood the German papers this weekend with his descriptions of the act of piracy perpetrated by the Israelis. Useful idiots like him wouldn’t even begin to comprehend the video. It suffices to say you are on the side of the downtrodden. I really should get a real estate licence so I could pawn off a couple of hundred Brooklyn Bridges.
Great piece. And it bears repeating that the Woody Allen line about the man who was “bayoneted to death by a conscientious objector” could not be more fitting. The term Peace activist has always seemed to me to be an oxymoron, and possibly the reason as this story gets further coverage the word peace is dropped and they are referred to merely as activists. Certainly when I hear the words Peace activist, I conjure an image of someone with their hand in the formation of a peace symbol and poking me in the eye with it until I react by hitting them, thus proving my violent nature. Concepts like peace and tollerance are Orwellian abstracts in this generation. The so called “humanitarian aid” was a pathetic excuse to seek provocation that could be spun as an “Evil Israelis” narative in the press. Are we so deeply moronic at a culture that this is not transparent to the average person, with or without a youtube video. Sheesh!
“”Are we so deeply moronic as a culture that this is not transparent to the average person””
Yes. People are manipulated by fashion and the ridicule and unhipness that comes from being unfashionable. Pop culture media has simply figured out that segments of the population not grounded in any particular moral belief system can be easily coerced in their political thoughts and beliefs by the same marketing ploy that chooses their favorite beer or jeans.
You can’t wear white after labor day, call a black man a racist, think tea partiers care about the country and Israelis being oppressors is a given.
And IQ level has zero to do with who is susceptible. In fact, the more notable institution you were educated in, the more likely your core moral values have been compromised to make you susceptible.
Off topic, but with any luck, China will mow over North Korea and end this thing before the ca-ca hits the turbines.
So the big news in my neighborhood is that Edward Peck (former U.S. Department of State’s chief of mission in Baghdad) was on one of the ships in the “aid” flotilla bound for Gaza and has now returned to his home just a few miles from where I sit. He’s returning in glory to make the circuit of all the leftist media and be hailed by his comrades and fellow travelors. Get ready to be nauseated.
Rubin Reports has a great description by the Israeli commando of what went down on the ship. Crux of the matter; they encountered a disciplined, trained and motivated force of professional terrorists.
I guess we are wondering when this whole middle east thing will blow, my guess before Jan. 20, 2013. The bad guys would want to strike while Mr. Hope and Change is still in office (assuming that the O is not re-elected).
I also know we are praying the Israelis strike Iran this year before they can assemble a bomb.
Thank you for posting this fabulous video, Neo. When I first saw it, I hoped that it would go viral. Looks like it will.
It needs to be put on Fox news, Palin’s facebook, and Limbaugh’s website. Then it will truly take off.
This baby has gone viral. If it has not found its way to Fox it soon will.

Bob: starting at 3:15 – hilarious and oh so appropriate for Neo’s “A mind is a difficult thing to change” message!
