I haven’t heard yet this morning from the people at my host who’ve been hard at work on fixing the problem, so I don’t know whether this is a temporary fix or a permanent one. But at the moment, I’m going to take advantage of it and try to throw a few posts up here.
Over the next day or two, I suggest you check both places for posts, until you (and I) get definitive word on what’s going on. But I’m encouraged at the moment.

Can you put your new location in the blogroll, right at the top? Then it won’t be dependent on the placement of this post.
PS – the edit function disappeared somehow. Small change in the context of the fixes needed, but just thought I would let you know.

Nice to see signs of life here! I have the new page duly bookmarked. I see that my auto-filled nom de plume is gone from this page’s comment function. It’ll be interesting to see whether it “sticks” once I fill it in to post this.
So far, yes, it seems to have stuck.

One of the reasons I’m moving to the new site is that I can’t change much of anything on the front page of this site, not even the blogroll. This site was set up so long ago it wasn’t under a system that was userfriendly at all. Basically, everything is done by code.
