Separated at birth? — 13 Comments

  1. I give up. Who are they? And should I be embarrassed for not knowing?

  2. fish out of water, new york doctor in Alaska in the 90s, no I don’t make the connection between rob morrow and mayor frey of mogadishu north, who has let the city collapse into chaos after George Floyd

the whole minnesota political class from the bottom to the top seems rather worm ridden, not only Jazz hand Waltz, but ‘Ike Turner’ Ellison, and everyone in between

  3. Northern Exposure was really good. Fans here will be glad to know what became of Janine Turner – the lead female character who played the bush pilot.

Inspired by her appointment to President Bush’s Council for Service and Civic Participation, Janine created her foundation, Constituting America, which she co-chairs with Cathy Gillespie. Her mission is to educate America’s youth and citizens about the importance of the nonpartisan United States Constitution. She utilizes her Hollywood experience to encourage kids to write and direct short films, public service announcements and hit songs about how the founding document protects liberty.

  4. Mike Plaiss,

Not just Janine Turner, but the philosophizing D.J. from “Northern Exposure,” Chris (John Corbett), also seems conservative. Or, at least not insane. He’s married to Bo Derek and Dennis Miller used to have him and Bo on his podcast periodically. Sounded practical and down to earth.

“Northern Exposure” is one of only a handful of fictional television programs my wife and I have watched together. It’s the only one I can think of that we specifically tried to watch together when it aired, each week. We also watched a lot of “Wings” together, but that may have been in reruns. And we’ve seen every “Jiminy Glick” ever filmed.
