Spambot of the day — 13 Comments

  1. Personally, I don’t know how you defended that hike! But that’s what makes you the tasteful, stylish blogger that impatiently hands it over. 🙂

  2. I had prepared a comment so much like that that repeating it here would be redundantly redundant.

  3. Hmm, actually, I thought I read something like that in the last “newspaper” of which I tried to make heads or tails. Are you sure they don’t work for the NYTs?

  4. Here’s my interpretation of this Spambotter:

    “I’m a lovable person.

You’re a good writer and may be tasty.

So, let’s go hiking this weekend.”

Of course, I could be misinterpreting this. But if I’m correct, I would not go hiking with this person this weekend. Wait until you develop a more sound relationship.

  5. Ed Bonderenka,

Bob Newhart ha a routine based on monkeys at typewriters. In the routine he was reviewing what was being typed, he thought he had a winner. “Hold it I think I have something on typewriter 57. Let’s see, “To be or not to be, that is the fizzlebip!” Or something like that.

  6. I was getting a lot of Japanese spam. I put it through the Google discombulator and got wonderful, resplendently redundant repetitions and invites to porn sites.
