Even Comey is fighting off the law for his “86 47” seashell stunt.
I worry more about the Iranians. Victor Davis Hanson expects an October Surprise from them before the election.

The Charismatic Voice is an opera singer and voice coach, who reacts mostly to songs, but in this case she takes on:
It’s one of the best reaction videos I’ve seen and The Voice knows her stuff. She is happy to explain technically the unconventional vocal styles in Rocky Horror, as well as her appreciation of it as theater.
Anyway if you wanted to revisit Rocky Horror from a different angle, this might be fun.
Films can be like rock albums — a couple great cuts, the rest so-so or worse. Rocky Horror maintains a steady high level of creativity and surprise.

I find Rocky Horror overrated. I like the place it held in youth culture, in my youth. For many it was a fun, light-hearted entertainment to experience as a group where one could feel camaraderie with all the in jokes and precisely timed pranks (throwing toast, etc…). I’m glad there was something like that around, I just wish it were a better movie. The plot is too obvious and not very clever*, and the music isn’t really that good.
* Right up there with “American Beauty” for its 2 dimensional portrayal of white, uptight “squares.” But at least Rocky Horror tried to be a comedy, unlike “American Beauty” that was treated like “King Lear.”
