Is AOC far enough to the left to be the DSA’s pick in 2028? — 4 Comments

  1. AOC – Not leftist enough. That’s a WOW moment.

“Last month, two Democratic congressmen released an open pledge they wanted their fellow Democratic members to sign. It said, ‘We are capitalist, not socialist. We want safety, not lawlessness. We are proud, not ashamed of America. These should not be hard words for a congressional Democrat to sign on to. You know how many did? Eight. Eight out of a 212.” Bill Maher

  2. Well, I guess this election season will have even more stunt candidates than the last one.

I’m looking forward to the return to campaigning of Randee of the Redwoods and Zippy the Pinhead, among others.

Maybe we’ll even see Tarquin Fin-tim-lin-bin-whin-bim-lim-bus-stop-F’tang-F’tang-Olé-Biscuitbarrel!

  3. Which party wins 2028 US Presidential Election?

    Democratic 60%
    $903,333 Vol.

    Republican 41%
    $1,077,732 Vol.

    Republican Presidential Nominee 2028

    J. D. “Bootlicker” Vance 46%

    Marco Rubio 28%

Yes, MAGA GOP will go for Vance in 2028…naturally (they can’t help themselves).

    Democratic Presidential Nominee 2028

    Gavin Newsom 19%
    $26,629,245 Vol.

    Jon Ossoff 15%
    $12,460,864 Vol.

    Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez 14%
    $14,138,151 Vol.

Rumors still have Bernie Sanders as DEM kingmaker.

In an October 2025 interview on The Axios Show, Sanders spoke very positively about Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY). He called her “incredibly intelligent,” “a very, very good politician,” genuine with voters, and from a working-class background. He said she would make a “formidable” presidential candidate in 2028 but stressed “that’s her decision to make.”

Representative Ro Khanna is another name showing up under the Sanders Umbrella but I’m still going with my early prediction of AOC as DEM Presidential nom in 2028. I think she kicks J. D. “Bootlicker” Vance’s buttocks and we’ll hear MAGA GOP weeping for decades…
