I’m not shocked but I continue to be disheartened that the 250th anniversary of the Fourth of July is hardly mentioned at the national level.
I’m sure this is not a mystery to neo readers. With half the country standing by a party ashamed of America and entirely hostile to those not on their side, what’s the point of exposing Old Glory to their mud?
We shall celebrate quietly, yet joyously, on our own.

• A K-12 school system that fails to educate half of its students to even minimal standards yet is controlled by unions that refuse to reform.
• A progressive university elite that views America as corrupt and exploitative. A generation of the young have been taught to dislike their country, and to believe that socialism is superior to the free-market system that made their affluence possible.
