The Colorado primary’s lessons at the state level — 9 Comments

  1. That’s an astoundingly comprehensive window into Colorado politics you’ve got there!…by a never resident, no less?

  2. When he was Mayor of Denver, Hickenlooper recruited a childhood friend of mine for a position in his administration. I wonder how he found out about her. When he got elected Governor, she was out of a job—the new Mayor wanted his own people—and went back East. No problem: she was living comfortably on her pension before the Denver job, and did so after the Denver job. She did like Denver.

That we have so many younger Demo voters going the “Democratic” Socialist route shows that the far lefties were very successful in their takeover of the universities. Granted, universities even three generations were lefty, but NOT as far lefty as they have become.

  3. I watched this happen in Austin, though.they should be opposed their
very success will undo them. The electorate gets what it deserves.

  4. Weiser may be pro Israel, but in everything else, he is Far to the Left. He will make Polis look good. Next time around, the nutters will win, big. The Dems have a lock on both houses in State House. That won’t change, but I expect that it will move left this yr a bit, and a lot more next time. Don’t like it, but I am 79, soon 80, and will not move.

  5. Meanwhile, The Democratic Party has, as we mentioned earlier, ceded the party to Islamist socialists who hate Jews and Israel. Zohran Mamdani’s wife celebrated the October 7 attacks. Democrats aided and abetted the pro-Hamas, antisemitic college encampments that plagued the country in 2024, and they routinely attack Israel. In fact, the Washington State Democratic Party just blamed Israel for a rise in antisemitism.

  6. It makes sense that those who wish to see Israel destroyed also wish to uproot the US…

…in spite of the swill that Tucker Carlson spews.

(On the other hand, there are those who merely wish to destroy for destruction’s sake; and to make it easier they dress up their fantasy in the seductive language of benevolence, concern and care.)
