And then there’s Raffensperger — 9 Comments

  1. My daughter and family live outside of Athens(not greece) you are not far off.

  2. A lot of Republicans after 2020 thought Trump was dead but it turned out he was only mostly dead and now they paying the price for choosing poorly.

  3. Trumps demise was greatly exaggerated in many minds. He could have quit after 2020 but he didn’t.
I will never think otherwise if they would have let him win in 2020 he would be gone and barely a foot note of what might have happened.
Now they are paying that price

  4. Geoff duncan is another who lost his way mind the democrats are still stark raving mad

  5. As a Georgia resident who has long voted Republican, I was inundated with Rick Jackson ads starting in February. Then starting in April the flood increased when Burt Jones started advertising and both sides went negative on the other. I don’t recall seeing anything from Raffensperger until early voting started in May, and it was a trickle compared to the other two. So I think the main reason he did so poorly was that he was out-spent by a large margin.

His scandalous performance in the 2020 election as Secretary of State (responsible for election integrity) was barely covered by local media and was probably not a factor.

  6. But people do remember…

He struck me as a slippery rascal masquerading as a man of integrity and gravitas, trying to do the right thing, as it were.

  7. Would almost seem like the Trump team does research to see which would potentially win, then backs that candidate. Candidate would win with or without Trump’s endorsement.
Many people are simply fed up with state of affairs and want a change.

Of course, my info comes from mostly leaning right sources. As Neo has mentioned frequently, there are “normal” people with TDS who will vote against Trumps pick, no matter how bad the opponent is.

  8. One would almost think that the accusers follow their own leaders like lemmings and can’t imagine anyone else doing anything else.

It’s why I refused to vote for him.
