Progress on the poetry book
I’m happy to report that I finally found a printer that can put out a version with which I’m satisfied, and I gave them the go-ahead. I originally thought the book would be available around Thanksgiving time, but that obviously never happened. But it should be ready around December 18, if there are no more glitches.
A preview of the cover:

YES. This has real pop!
Notice posted on New American Digest.
Cover looks good. Do you have a price yet?
Will there be hardcopies printed also?
flysow:
No hardcovers this time. It got too complicated. But the paperback is very high quality paper, etc.
DT:
Thanks. Most likely $21.95.
Beautiful, Neo! I would grab this from a bookstore table in a heartbeat. Looking forward to its release.
Neo, is the cover art meant to evoke a bird, flying away?
AppleBetty:
Not that I know of. It’s an abstract pastel by Casey Klahn, an artist who was one of Gerard’s readers.
Re: Cover art
I too wondered about the image. I got a Helen Frankenthaler vibe from it:

Though not as well-known as Pollock, De Kooning or Rothko, Frankenthaler was one of the great abstract expressionists.
Some of Klahn’s work can be found here.
