Breaking story: Comey indicted — 10 Comments

  1. FBI Director Kash Patel:

Today, your FBI took another step in its promise of full accountability. For far too long, previous corrupt leadership and their enablers weaponized federal law enforcement, damaging once proud institutions and severely eroding public trust. Every day, we continue the fight to earn that trust back, and under my leadership, this FBI will confront the problem head-on.

Nowhere was this politicization of law enforcement more blatant than during the Russiagate hoax, a disgraceful chapter in history we continue to investigate and expose.

Everyone, especially those in positions of power, will be held to account – no matter their perch.

No one is above the law.

  2. I hope his case is heard in a jurisdiction where you have real juries and not DC / Manhattan juries.

I suspect most of these characters have run out the clock or were crafty enough to avoid committing indictable offenses while undertaking their various abuses of power. Rosenstein, Weismann, McCabe, Sztrok, Page, Clapper, Brennan, Garland, the Fusion GPS crew, and various unnamed FBI agents (e.g. the characters who tried to entrap George Papadopalous) deserve sanction.

  3. Indictment is in Virginia. Not that NoVA is unbiased, but things might go better than they would in DC. After all, they got a grand jury to indict.

  4. Just read that the Judge assigned is a Biden appointee. Wonder how that happened.
I really don’t expect much to happen. But as Dems have said “Its the Process”.

  5. Part of the process is to keep the Democrat’s skullduggery in front of the public with the hope that more people will learn what really happened during RussiaGate, and maybe more (of the less rabid left) will leave the Democrats in disgust.

  6. Plea deal – Will pay $1 million fine paid for by GoFundMe or Soros and 10 hours of community service.

  7. The less Trump says about this, the better.
“ABC News chief legal analyst Dan Abrams said President Donald Trump’s long history of rants against former FBI Director James Comey could torpedo the prosecution against him — and the Supreme Court isn’t likely to wade in and rescue it.”

Abrams could be right. My expectations for real accountability are low at this point.
