  1. Stuff like this might change our tune…

Just think of Biden controlling the digital dollar dictating when and where you spend it for equities sake…

One day, a burned-out lightbulb will mean something again…

Me? I will be laughing my arse off from the choir triumphant as most of the others up there would be too (given my age)… heck, this is more entertaining than the marvel universe 4th turning… heh.

This is akin to fulfilling the predictions of Harvard Lampoon in their Broadway play lemmings… Sooooo prescient… it’s amazing…

Between the politicians polarizing power trips..
Were just too pure and peaceful to understand

    ultimately…
we will feed our flower habit, pushing daisies…

Farewell New York City with your streets that flash like strobes
Farewell to that place where I left my frontal lobes

Even more prescient given what happened at burning man…

National Lampoon: Lemmings, a spinoff of the humor magazine National Lampoon, was a 1973 stage show that helped launch the performing careers of John Belushi, Christopher Guest, and Chevy Chase. The show was co-written and co-directed by a number of people including Sean Kelly. The show opened at The Village Gate on January 25, 1973, and ran for 350 performances

Without demographic collapse, nothing is possible..
everyone likes their new peoples in the “The Migration Period”?
I guess we all have our Ostrogoths, Visigoths, Franks, Angles, Saxons, Burgundians, Alemanni, and Vandals

  2. Neo,
You recently had the story about the migration of rats. You might want to look at the migration of the Armadillo within the 20th century, and about their movement east of the Mississippi river.
My dad grew up in south Mississippi. The story my grandmother told about the first time my uncle, still a child, saw an armadillo in their yard, he went screaming that an ” anteater” was after him.
I like ants in general, but one thing that is unfolding now is the movement of the ” crazy ant” across Texas. I think they are displacing the invasive fire ant population, but in the aggregate , the crazy ants may be worse on the native ants. Recently I was trying to knock out a leaf cutter ant colony with a bait of borax and sugar. I placed the bait inside of a closed live animal trap to keep the birds and mammals from being poisoned. I placed the cage over a leaf cutter ant colony and crazy ants showed up , started fighting the leaf cutter ants. The leaf cutters eventually retreated into their nest.
I need to deal with both. There are so many crazy ants in places a person not wearing boots and long pants can hardly stand there. And some of them herd aphids onto squash and egg plants. The leaf cutters have a mound in one place in our pasture that is more than 20 feet across. At another place they are killing pear trees and on a previous year they kept attacking my okra plants.

  3. Re: the 9/6 open thread video: very nice!

It amazes me that some people can just sit down at a keyboard and “make it up”.
My father played some piano by ear and also bought sheet music of the ’30’s and ’40’s… (maybe not ’50’s; music changed a lot). So I grew up with romantic hits and other things (“I’ve got a Lovely Bunch of Coconuts”, 1944). They taught me, as a preschooler, to sing “Take me Out to the Ballgame”. Each of us kids played an instrument (or more than one) ’til age 18 or beyond. Dad played a keyboard some in his 90’s at the independent living home. (Captive audience?)

  4. My mind was drifting, and I thought about Bizarro presidential tickets.

Trump – Harris: The Unity Ticket

Hunter Biden – Michelle Obama: The Bad Dream Team
