I’m seriously deficient in pop culture and celebs … no clue for either of them.
JimNorCal:
You’e making an assumption there that they are pop culture celebs.
The first guy according to the picture caption is Jacob Frey, Mayor of Minneapolis. The second one is indeed Rob Morrow. If Frey decides to run for President, he’s got a good chance of winning on looks alone.
“If Frey decides to run for President, he’s got a good chance of winning on looks alone.”
Sure as hell won’t win on the strength of anything happening in Minnesota these days.
I have a similar separated-at-birth of Fred Allen and George VI, but am unable to post it here.
I think Mr. Morrow is old enough to be Mayor Frey’s father.

Have a gander at the work histories and public positions of the city council. IIRC, one of the city councillors owns his own business and one is a town planner, married and with three children. Aside from these two, Mayor Frey is the adult in the room.
Eva Marie:
Frey’s parents were both modern dancers.
Frey weeping uncontrollably on George Floyd’s casket during one of his funerals, while his city smouldered would be a defining image. He has improved since, but the only reason he was reelected was that he was the least worst lefty.
I’ve long told my daughter that her maternal grandfather bore a striking resemblance to the fine character actor Edmund O’Brian.
I’ve also very briefly glimpsed my doppelganger. In the early 80’s I was exiting the 5 Freeway in Sylmar, just north of the San Fernando Valley. As I slowed starting to exit, I happened to glance over to my left at a car passing me in the far right lane, right next to me, maybe 10 ft away. It was literally like looking in the mirror. The utter surprise on his face revealed that he shared my shocked recognition. Never happened again.
Frey also looks a little like Peter Dempsey.
My Dad looked like Don Ameche.
I was guessing Adrien Boyd on top for the nose, though the forehead’s not quite right.
And remembering Wilfred Brambell’s golden line about Ringo’s Nose from “A Hard Day’s Night”:

Aye, it may be a joke to you, but it’s his nose. He can’t help having a hideous great hooter! And his poor little head, trembling under the weight of it!
I loved Brambell as Paul’s grandfather. I spent a silly amount of time trying, unsuccessfully, to prove Brambell was the uncredited milkman in Hitchcock’s “The 39 Steps.”
That running joke in “Hard Day’s Night” about Brambell being “very clean” was because Brambell was known then as the older, slovenly junk man in the sitcom, “Steptoe and Son.” Which was later remade in the US as “Sanford and Son.”
Some people say i look like steve martin i dont see the resemblance
Talk about someone who should have retired from public life the worse since nero or the chicago mayor in 1871
I’ve also very briefly glimpsed my doppelganger.
Geoffrey Britain:
People keep telling me I have a doppelganger, apparently a gang of them, but I’ve never run into one.
I do look rather like Elliot Gould — from the back.
“Frey weeping uncontrollably on George Floyd’s casket during one of his funerals, while his city smouldered would be a defining image.”
Yep…and how’s downtown Minneapolis doing these days?
Morrow was great in Northern Exposure. It was never the same after he left.
Neo,
Northern Exposure was so good. They filmed that here in the Seattle area and in Roslyn in central WA, which was the stand in for Cicely, AK, is a nice little town in the mountains.
My Dad and I both found Northern Exposure delightful. An oasis in a desert of mediocrity.
My daughter and I also loved Northern Exposure … so much that we began wondering what the town of Cecily would be like if it were in South Texas … and so began the Luna City series …
I have a doppleganger also, although I have never met her face to face. Some clients of the consultancy I worked for 15 years ago were friends of hers – a woman who lived in Houston and is/was my exact double.

Rob Morrow of ‘Northern Exposure’ TV fame on the bottom.
Right?
I know it isn’t but it does look like a young Eddie Fisher.
Griffin:
I won’t say till later.
SHIREHOME:
A little tiny bit.

Such great writing. Hat tip to Alun Owen.

So, who are these guys, Neo?
Reminds me of an SNL skit from about 10 years ago, Dylan McDermott or Dermot Mulroney.
