Hard for me to find any rainbow anywhere given the current state of affairs. And for sure, no unicorns.
I am so ashamed for America today. A Black Lives Matter banner displayed prominently on the US Embassy in Athens. The world must think we have lost our minds. (They would be correct in thinking so)
Barry Meislin, we were in Alaska six years ago. My husband loved it, until he saw the ghost forest in the water from the big Anchorage earthquake, and our birdwatching hosts told us that earthquakes are “frequent.” The ground shaking under one’s feet is not supposed to happen.
@Kate:
Don’t worry, they fly the Rainbow Faggotry Flag too from time to time.
A Rainbow of inclusive exclusion: black, brown, and the shredded remains of white, with blue following, and People of Asia (i.e. racist designation) subject to affirmative discrimination.
Baby Lives Matter
Can you be O/T in an open thread?
Here I go: Since UFO are now officially A Thing, see “The Martian Shop”, a sci fi from about sixty years ago. In Fantasy and Science Fiction.
Are we looking at another, yet another, moral equivalent of war?
72-Year-Old Good Samaritan Nearly Beaten to Death After Stopping to Help Black Teen with Flat Tire
Diversity [dogma] (e.g. racism), inequity, and exclusion is a progressive condition.
QUICK, for a good laugh.
Get a load of this before it disappears. It is a young Japanese male portraying an Occidental requesting lessons on Japanese.
Now, I doubt that any Caucasian anywhere will be offended by a Japanese guy trying to inject humor into an ad by wearing a blond wig and a set of fake Groucho eyeglasses featuring blonde eyebrows and a projecting nose.
But it does highlight how the sensitivities of the woke (and I do not assume he is one) can be demonstrated by the taken-for-granted-as-permissable as trending in one direction.
This is no solicitation for, nor time for, a whining and theatrical foul flop.
The kid certainly seems to have no hostile intent … unlike, say, the folks who disfigured the Yuezhi Donor murals.
@DNW:
I’d make a small bet that that Japanese guy is half Filipino. But harmless enough.
Clive James once had a hilarious clip from Ugandan or Kenyan sitcom of some Bantu in Whiteface playing a colonial District Officer / Magistrate.
@ Zaphod,
Geez … The story about the young woman being in 2012 killed is an outrage
But did you glance at the particular agenda of the promoter of this version – of an admittedly legitimate story?
“Nationalist dissidence – NS Falangist – French Legitimate Royalist – Anti-Zionist – Anti feminism – For the white catholic and pagan France”
Aside from the mind blowing incoherence of her profile i.e., “Catholic and pagan”, is her added Nazi’s in Paris photo celebration header/banner. And, then “Hitler, was right!” she/says. Good Lord.
This is somebody completely unbalanced.
You don’t need an insane and probably unwelcome ally like that.
And neither from reading “Claire’s” blog for a few moments, does Rand Paul the libertarian, need a falangist gloming onto him.
@DNW:
I don’t really give a damn who dredges up case reports. Data is data. If Adolf Hitler said that it rained yesterday, that doesn’t discredit precipitation. Something of interest pops up in my feeds, I’ll post it. Who says she’s my ally? If Ben Shapiro emits a useful factoid, I’ll quote him too.
As the spirit moves me, I will likely continue to post Black on White atrocities punished or unpunished, current or dated until one receives prolonged national coverage and becomes a cause celebre. Not holding my breath.
Also you should read some Gillaume Faye. Yes, you should 🙂
FWIW I’m a bit interested in the Euro Reactionary Right. They’ve got a bit more fight in them than I’ve noticed anywhere in the Anglosphere. Still… it’s been 200 years of constant losing, so there’s that too.

Sure. If Adolph says, “Es regnet heute”, you commit no moral offense by glancing out of the window and checking for your umbrella, rather than completely disregarding him.
If however Ernst Rohm, sidles up to you, throws his arm around your shoulder, brings his face close, and whispers he has a patented way to make sure no nasty types are ever going to bother you, and all you have to do is show up in his private room that night to be initiated into the secret; then … we have a situation where ad hom and logic begin to legitimately blur.
I do not say she is your ally. I surmise she might like to be thought of as one if you were “an influencer”, say. Doesn’t seem to have any scruples when it comes to trading off of Paul’s name.
Which is why I mentioned that aspect.
As the spirit moves me, I will likely continue to post Black on White atrocities punished or unpunished, current or dated until one receives prolonged national coverage and becomes a cause celebre.
Fine with me. The Spirit moves as it will, and no man can say where-from or whereto. One should just have a little care – as we all must – as to which spirit it is that is providing one with that particular inspiration that day.
Not holding my breath.
Also you should read some Gillaume Faye. Yes, you should ?

When reading “The Day of the Jackal” I found myself rooting for the OAS though I knew almost nothing about them. Probably many people were.
But the closer you looked at the real life versions, the less appealing the main “players” seemed. Though they did show the fight that the Pied-Noir seemed incapable of mustering for themselves.
I don’t know … Franco’s Spain seemed to be a great place to make an epic movie. Just ask Sam Bronston. But I would not want to live there. Then, or now.
Then: no good Sunday morning TV. Probably all test patterns. Now: beaches full of English and German sex perverts acting out in public.
Unless that is, Algeria, was the only alternative.
By the way, that gets me to thinking of exactly what “Claire” meant by Euro-pagans.
Does she include the scum on the pond of Ibiza?
Personally, I’m more a Salazar man than a Franco guy. But that was a Stitch in time saving Nine. And in the end made little difference. Spain and Portugal are both lost now.
As always, it’s Complicated. But I’m increasingly disinclined to be apologising for people who may be uncouth or distasteful and share some points of agreement with me. It gets tedious and it concedes too much ground to the Enemy. And no, I don’t beat my wife, etc.
Currently in a foul mood because in last hour have found myself locked out of my Amazon account of 20+ years through which have pumped obscene amounts of money. Just been on the phone with one of their drones and have a very bad feeling about the whole Byzantine Kafkaesque process of trying to get it resolved. Have an awful sneaking suspicion it’s because I purchased a contentious Kindle title last night. Time will tell.
Might have to buy everything from Taobao going forward. Bummer.

Rainbow, yes. Dorothy, no.
I notice that the end of the rainbow is in the wilderness not one of our formerly fair cities.
Nice Rainbow ya’ got there.
Still, Gaia is NOT happy…. Not at all.
