Another must-read… — 11 Comments

  1. I am not surprised that some of the most talented voices in the fight for free speech come from homosexuals (Greenwald, Tammy Bruce, Dave Rubin, Douglas Murray, Chadwick Moore, Ric Grenell). They appreciate how important freedom is, and the importance of a free exchange of ideas. They know what it is like to have to live “closeted.”

  2. The attacks on the principled Greenwald (who is both gay and leftist) from hysterical “progressives” are bitter and relentless. A recent example comes from the odious Jonathan Chait of NYMag; Chait is incensed that Greenwald has the courage to speak his mind on Tucker’s show and to grant an interview to The Daily Caller, both of which actions are unforgivable as clear evidence of the worst kind of “wrong-think”. One of the many differences between Tucker on Fox and everyone on CNN/MSNBC is that Tucker will engage with those who are not generally in ideological alignment with him if there can be agreement on certain important issues (e.g. he will invite left-wing feminists in order to discuss the erosion of women’s rights by the “Equality Act”).

  3. Rufus – interesting thought. In the past it was the Jewish people who supported or created organizations like the ACLU and NAACP. This shows the moral disintegration of the Reform Jewish Movement. May be it is a result of the Zionist movement when many observant Jews emigrated. Now the homosexuals see what can happen when they are no longer a “favored” group supplanted by “trans” movement.

  4. JE – The only Fox program I watch anymore is Tucker. He has the courage to speak truth to power. At this time he is like Bill O’Reilly at the height of his influence. Fox realizes that if he goes then they will really go down the tank. Not that they will try if he makes a misstep.

  5. I am Spartacus,

I read the links in your prior comment. Mr. Judge was very strong and steadfast under tremendous pressure. Do you know if his part of the saga was well detailed in Mollie Hemingway’s book on the Kavanaugh hearing?

  6. The greater the democrat’s success in silencing their opposition the sooner and more certain will be the terrible reckoning they are courting.

  7. Predictions are hard to quantify but some like to make them; some have been predicting civil war for at least 4 years now.

Aunt Ada Doom famously said “I saw something nasty in the woodshed.” She was nuts BTW.

  8. Rufus – I don’t know if Mark Judge’s saga is documented in the book. I believe it would not as it was subsidiary to the main story. Mark refused to talk to anybody so she wouldn’t have the chance in my opinion.

  9. The issue not what the House Ds are doing, but how many alleged Rs will fall in line alongside them.

GB is correct…the Ds will certainly work hard to silence the opposition, but it is the partnership with the GOPe that will bring that reckoning with great vigor & awesome terribleness.

  10. Greenwald should go full independent. There’s no room for compromise or dissent with the establishment Left.

You can’t reason with them by explaining how their actions are hypocritical. They don’t care about principles, only power. They don’t care about freedom of speech or the press, except when they can use it against the right.

I’ve lost my patience with leftists and anyone who will align with them for short-term goals.
