Most Billionaires, say Oprah or Bill Gates, set up charities to give away their own money. There may be other monies involved, like Warren Buffett’s in the Gates Foundation, but there is always mountains of wealth from the Namesake.
Trump operated more like the Clinton Foundation (at least in terms of fundraising), which is fine except for the fact that he’s supposedly a Billionaire.
Putting aside the allegation that he was using the charity to help himself, the more alarming notion is that Trump doesn’t have the money for a regular Billionaire Foundation.
This explains what we saw in Singapore. He doesn’t know how to negotiate.
“He doesn’t know how to negotiate.”
Undoubtedly because he doesn’t have ace negotiators (like John Kerry) on his team….
