Oh, and by the way: attacking Rubio about his finances… — 10 Comments

  1. If a Pub candidate has a lot of money, he gets attacked for that. If a Pub candidate doesn’t have much money, he gets attacked for that. See a pattern?

  2. Reportedly, Christie is pulling out. Attacking Rubio for not having a lot of money is truly moronic. It undercuts democrat’s most emotionally serious charge against a Republican candidate.

Carly Fiorina has run out of political mojo.

Carson, Rubio or Trump will be the GOP candidate.

  3. Rather than a gravitationally challenged Governor with a sharp mind, the Dems would rather have one so dim he can’t remember where he left that billion dollars of Other People’s Money, because that’s definitely a feature for them.

Carly destroyed herself when she attacked Planned Parenthood.

    That was the turning point.

    The optics were horrific.

    And the polls showed it.

Scott Adams spotted the gaff — straight off.

He stopped talking her up, too.

Carson is imploding as I type.

The opposition research on him is leaking out.

    He’s a brilliant surgeon — but a fantacist.

Hillary would love to run against Carson — and Jeb.

Cruz is polling strong — but only nationally.

He’s not polling strong in Iowa and New Hampshire.

The only folks left with a real shot:

    Trump
    Cruz
    Rubio

The big money crowd loves Rubio.

They can’t make any headway with Cruz or Trump.

Cruz is likely to get a HUGE fraction of Carson’s Iowa support before the primary.

Cruz was the second choice for many evangelicals.

  5. I can imagine Rubio falling out of the pack — by coming in third in Iowa.

I believe that New Hampshire allows cross over voting in their primaries.

Yet Sanders and Clinton are in a shoot out.

So, I can’t imagine too many Democrat voters voting in the Republican primary, this time around.

  6. I have considered changing my registration so I can caucus for feel the Bern. Seeing hrc go down in flames in IA would be a wonderful deja vu all over again. Contrary to the sentiments of others, I don’t see the latest ministry of propaganda Carson smear gaining any traction with the gop base in IA. Carson needs to practice jujitsu on the msm by proudly proclaiming their fabrications and out right lies are a signal of how much they fear him as a candidate. However, I do think the race in IA boils down to Carson or Cruz.

Have you actually kept up with the Carson story? It appears that Politico is the fabulist. They’ve had to walk back a great deal of what they said about Carson. Of course, you know about the technique of the Big Lie. So maybe the Carson smears will work. But I see no reason to accuse him of making stuff up.

As for Fiorina, I have a very different theory than you on why her polls went down. She does well in debates, and when there aren’t any debates people forget about her. So her polls went down, and in the most recent debate, she didn’t do anything memorable, whereas Rubio and Cruz did. They got the bump.

  8. blert:

Only Independents can cross over in NH. But of course, you can change your affiliation to “independent” before the primary:

New Hampshire permits voters that have not declared their party affiliation to vote in a party’s primary. A voter does have to officially join a specific political party before voting; however, the voter can change his or her affiliation back to “Undeclared” immediately after voting, and hence he or she only has to belong to a party for the few minutes it takes to fill out and cast a ballot. Voters who are already registered members of a political party cannot change their affiliation at the polling place; that can only be done before the checklist is closed several weeks prior to the election. New voters can, however, register at the polling place.

  9. So her polls went down, and in the most recent debate, she didn’t do anything memorable, whereas Rubio and Cruz did.

The anti Left doesn’t like her and there’s propaganda, that’s still boosting from the anti Sarah Palin days, about it. Many of the anti Left were loyal Leftist zombies in 2008, for example.

Snowden being one of the more notable examples. Their culture doesn’t change as much as their politics do.
