Harry Reid offers still more evidence… — 15 Comments

  1. He should sue Reid personally if he loses the election. If this isn’t actual malice, I don’t know what is.

  2. Harry Reid is as gutter as they come. Like Pelosi, he’s one of those Democrats who makes me dry heave whenever I hear him speak, no matter what he’s speaking about. The guy just oozes slime.

On a sunnier note – TED CRUZ!!!

  3. Although the polls can’t be trusted at this early stage of the Romney/Obama race, you might say pretty securely that Mitt’s not going to decrease. And right now, given it’s pretty even, and that “even” includes the built in bias for democrats in polling, I’d say we can start being enthusiastic. The Ted Cruz “miracle” shows what the country is really wanting and it’s not more illiberal cowbell.

  4. Harry Reid claims to be a Mormon. No real, serious Mormon would deal in the lies and politics of personal destruction that he practices with gusto. In a democrat party rife with despicable people, Reid stands out.

  5. Harry Reid is a sneaky sleazeball and that is how he got to be majority leader of the Senate. I’ve heard that he has had a reputation for sneaky dirty tricks and double-crossing and such ever since his days in the Nevada legislature decades ago. That’s why the Democrats put him in a position of leadership–they knew he’d do what it took to get the party’s business done in the Senate.

  6. “Reid may be an execrable person”

That is a very insulting and unfair comment, neo. Excrement, after all, has some useful purposes such as fertilizer.

  7. Here is a golden oldie from Harry Reid during the 2010 campaign.

“I don’t know how anyone of Hispanic heritage could be a Republican, okay. Do I need to say more?”

Harry Reid was running for reelection to the Us Senate. He won. In addition, Reid’s son Rory Reid was running against Brian Sandoval for Governor of Nevada. Rory Reid lost.

Do I need to say more?

  8. How well would Harry Reid respond to requests that he release 10-20 years of HIS income tax returns?

That is the approach to take.

  9. The strategy is to place the meme out there:

Mitt Romney didn’t pay taxes for 10 years.

That hits harder than “he’s hiding something” or “he won’t release returns”. It takes on a life of it’s own in the same way that “Obama is a muslim” did (was that one ever “planted”?) or “Sarah Palin is an idiot”. It doesn’t matter whether it is true or not, vetted or not. It just gets out there and lives.

    Watch it.

  10. Well, I have heard that Reid and his son made millions in Nevada from doing business with the mob and using Harry’s political connections to get him lucrative real estate deals..his poor father would be so sad to know what a crook his son turned out to be.

    Or so I heard.

  12. Amen sister. I don’t think I have ever commented to your posts, but I do check in from time to time. I like the post about Cruz. What a stark contrast between him and Obama.

  13. Reid’s tactics are like those of most newspapers: Make up an accusation out of whole cloth and put it in the headline on the front page. Publish a retraction or apology a week later (if ever) on the back page in 8 point font, long after the damage is done.
