we live in a narcissistic society, and its funny in very sad ways to see people make demands that are narcissistic in origin, then project it as a shaming mechanism to get others to comply.
to get wrapped up in the analogy, or to discuss nothings, and all that… and to not want real information, which isn’t as much fun to the narcissist (and which the narcissist in us hates as we would rather someone else doesn’t show our ego up by investing more time and effort in things)
when i sacrifice time, effort and energy to share real information, that others may not have that time, and or ability to make the effort for good rasons, can have it.
but the ones who want to be loved for short missives, and wit. they hate it. quipping need not know anything about much of anything. even less if the audience is ignorant of references that such would make if such were doing so from a educated place vs a cruel place.
