It occurs to me…
…that with my new and more effective spam filter, I may be retiring the “spambot of the day” feature for want of high-caliber candidates.
Pity, isn’t it? Although I won’t be shedding too many tears for the little buggers.
And I hope you’re all satisfied with the preview function so many of you have been requesting for years—although I’m a little sad that some of the more colorful errors will be going the way of the bots, down the rabbit hole.
Love the preview button.
If you want to add an AntiRomneyBot category, let me know… 😉

You’ll have to settle for off-the-wall comments by real people now!
However, I predict that in the future, bots will become so clever they will be able to engage in regular commentary for several posts before they try to sell you something.
And what are the chances one day you could be talking to a number of people online and all of them are bots except you?
You’ll be talking to yourself then, which is funny, because some of us still think it’s odd in the day of cell phones to still hear people who sound like they are rambling on to nobody while walking by us. You used to be crazy when you did that.
And bots will be talking to other bots, and also bots pretending to be other bots, and several bots pretending to be you. I could go on, but here’s this book from Amazon….yours for only…
🙂
Honeyimhome: wow, that’s scary. Have you ever thought of writing science fiction?
The preview button is mahvelous! That said, my typing is so clumsy and laborious, it takes me forever to write much of a comment. Many times I submit a comment that I proofed too hurriedly and is still riddled with errors. Fortunately, the human mind can usually translate the intent of the words even when they aren’t letter perfect. So, that’s my excuse. Still, hoping there will be fewer typos with the preview feature – we’ll see.

Well, I once submitted a story to a science fiction magazine and got a rejection letter out of it. That was the extent of that potential career choice!
About this preview button. Reading what you wrote after pressing the preview button is superior to just reading what you wrote, in what way exactly? Lol
Let’s not disparage rabbit holes two days before Easter!
I love the preview button after I’ve posted before previewing. Preview is my friend. Preview is my friend. One of these days, I’ll remember that.
Adios, Spambots, never ever to return here!
If you want spam, I’ll save some of the most delectible of mine, from my ncobrief.com site. I have some real winners there.
I not only get a lot of spam in my gmail account, it comes with recipes for spam, too. A lose-lose proposition.
