I would have said Todd Seavey if he wasn’t exact opposite to Mr. Assange ideologically, in general, and towards violence in amorous matters, in particular
On the second thought: may be I was too quick in dismissing point of ideological similarity between the two…
Ok, putting on my best casting director hat…
[hope hollyweird is watching – i am ready for my close up Mr Demille! ]
If the movie is going to put him in a positive light, and want him to bigger than he is, then first choice would be Alexander Godunov.
If it was “the Beeb” doing the flick, i guess i would go with David John McDonald (with hair dyed of course).
it all depends on whether he is being positively portrayed, or if its a hack job, or its a historical…
hack job probably would be a cattle call.
Todd Seavey is a great choice in a negative portrayal, unless the actor could pull off changing your mind through the film
LeBron James.
Hans Conried
I rarely disagree, Neo, but here I must. If he’s not too old I think the best choice is the guy.
Gilbert Grape guy.
Jude Law.
Assange bears a resemblance to Liam Neesom, but Liam is FAR too much a man to play Julian.

Doogie Leaker.
Leakie Howser?
I don’t know but if they do a movie about Charlie Rangel the part should go to Welsey Snipes.
I think that these guys should be in the running (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YVSCkoKJ6Bw)
