Pre-holiday reminder: please use neo-neocon for your Amazon purchases
The holidays are coming, the holidays are coming!
And what better way to give the gifts that keep on giving than to use neo-neocon as the portal for your Amazon purchases. If you click on any of the widgets in the right sidebar, anything you buy during that visit will send a tiny bit of money my way, and it won’t cost you an extra cent.
Sounds like a win-win situation to me.
(NOTE: Do you think I have a future writing advertising copy? I don’t think so, either.]
Sorry, Neo, I keep forgetting to do that. I just bought a bunch of stuff from Amazon, and used my browser bookmark.

It’s a lovely idea.
I’ll try to remember. And you DO write good ad copy. When writing ad copy, stress BENEFITS as in “and it won’t cost you an extra cent.” 🙂
(I wouldn’t mind a brief monthly reminder in the posting part of your blog.)
I have one gift suggestion, the DVD of the movie Agora. I just watched and it is a must for history buffs, and anyone interested in the history of mathematical astronomy, religious fanaticism, the conflict between church and state, rival mass movements and power politics. In short your average Neo neoconski.
Here is the Wikipedia description “Agora is a 2009 Spanish historical drama film directed by Alejandro Amené¡bar and written by Amené¡bar and Mateo Gil. The biopic stars Rachel Weisz as Hypatia, a female mathematician, philosopher and astronomer in 4th century AD Roman Egypt who investigates the flaws of the geocentric Ptolemaic system and the heliocentric model that challenges it. Surrounded by religious turmoil and social unrest, Hypatia struggles to save the knowledge of classical antiquity from destruction.
The story uses historical fiction to highlight the relationship between religion and science amidst the decline of Greco-Roman polytheism and the Christianization of the Roman empire.”
