  1. Entropy is hard to reverse, Neo, once you fall to its decay.

Metaphoric? The Left thinks Iraq is also a metaphoric war for Bush. So it is not as if metaphors or reality matters, in this case. Intentions matter more, as I think you mentioned, Neo.

The Left also ignores the suffering caused indirectly by their actions on welfare, Neo. So when it gets easy to ignore the fellow suffering of your fellows, it is even easier to ignore it for Iraq. Also “ignoring it” is akin to repression. It doesn’t mean it goes away, so when the Left ignores suffering, it does not mean they become immune to suffering. No, rather, they become more vulnerable to seeing suffering, and more easily manipulated. That’s what occurs when you repress things like violence, you are less able to control it or deal with it.

Islam is special. Like any victims or blacks, you need to give them an advantage by handicapping the oppressor. Who’s the oppressor? Whites, males, Christians, the US, etc. And what about heretics like Neo? Well, I guess you’re a collaborator to the oppressor.

What other cultures, Neo. Is Christianity the same culture as Hollywood? No. So the Left doesn’t care about “other” cultures, Neo, they only care about themselves. Whatever they do, is sourced from their own “white guilt” and “noblesse Oblige” principles, not the principles of other cultures. Multi culti is another snakeoil product, Neo. It ain’t the real deal.

As Jeff mentioned, and I will back up, the best way to deceive people is to either play to their fears of what is true (your car is on fire, better get out fast), or telling people what they want to believe is true (your husband in that mine collapse is alive). It isn’t true, but people believe it.
