Trump and the ICC — 13 Comments

  1. This is wonderful. More would be better. I hoped Trump could use his creative genius to go thoroughly medieval on their ass, but I suppose there are limits to what even he can do.

  2. Blinken on the ICC:

We believe, however, that our concerns about these cases would be better addressed through engagement with all stakeholders in the ICC process rather than through the imposition of sanctions.”

Whenever you hear people use the word “engagement,” run. They are up to no good.

  3. Gringo:

Stewart Brand, of Whole Earth fame, once said, parodying Goebbels or some such Nazi, “When I hear the word, ‘share,’ I would reach for my gun if I had one.”

That’s how I feel about “engagement” or “conversation.”

  4. From Whale Psychiatrist:

    – President Trump has also fired the head of the National Archives and Records Administration.

On reflection, it’s a little surprising it’s taken this long; this guy was (at least publicly) one of the people behind the FBI’s Mar-a-Lago raid, IIRC.

  5. And now … drum roll:

“There is no need for Joe Biden to continue receiving access to classified information,” Trump wrote in a post on Truth Social. “Therefore, we are immediately revoking Joe Biden’s Security Clearances, and stopping his daily Intelligence Briefings.”

Trump’s move, however, is not unprecedented. In February 2021, Joe Biden announced he would bar Trump from receiving the intelligence briefings traditionally given to former presidents. In his first television interview as president, he told CBS anchor Norah O’Donnell that Trump couldn’t be trusted due to his “because of his erratic behavior” which he said was unrelated to the Capitol riot.

  6. The more one finds out about the “Biden administration,” the clearer becomes the conclusion that it was owned and operated by and for the benefit of the treasonous cabal initially coalescing under the “Obama administration.” Biden was never in charge of anything beyond the self-enrichment opportunities that being in his position afforded him and his family. It was the group of America-hating globalists/leftists whose activities have been exposed, largely by the financial disclosures accomplished by the DOGE crew who actually ran things, and Biden simply did what he was told and said what was given to him to proclaim. (Except, of course, when he inadvertantly told the truth in the throes of rapid-onset dementia.) Had Trump not returned to power, our future as a nation was one of continued beggary and submission to that unelected, utterly traitorous, vile and satanic bunch, aided and abetted in their skullduggery by an equally vile, traitorous and satanic bunch of soi disant “journalists.”

  7. “Engaging with the stakeholders” is not impeded by sanctioning them. Sanctioning them is a form of engagement: it says, “You’re out of your lane. Get back where you belong and maybe we can talk.”

It’s like when you ignore your dog after it’s done something wrong.

  8. The President begins to sanction the ICC and their cronies

“US President Donald Trump signed an executive order to cut US financial assistance to South Africa, the White House said on Friday, citing disapproval of its land policy and of its genocide case at the International Court of Justiceagainst Washington’s ally Israel.

The United States allocated nearly $440 million in assistance to South Africa in 2023, the most recent US government data shows.

    Race relations in South Africa
The White House said Washington will also formulate a plan to resettle white South African farmers and their families as refugees.”

  9. I HAVE A VERY IMPORTANT QUESTION :

IS THERE SOME WAY THAT RETIRED POSTAL EMPLOYEES ARE BEING DENIED ACCESS TO THEIR HEALTHCARE INSURANCE?

I have been told that a retired postal employee (extreme naive feminist) has been denied access to her doctor because the doctor cannot access her medical insurance. What’s going on with this?

  10. Anne:

I think if that was happening to more than this one person, the left would be talking about it nonstop. Perhaps this person or her doctor is experiencing some sort of computer glitch? I don’t even think DOGE has gotten around to accessing health insurance records or anything of that sort.

Unless, of course, the lady in question has health insurance via a USAID grant …

As I said, though, if this is really happening a group of people we will hear about it in due time.

Looking it up, I also see that there’s a relatively new program for postal employees and retirees that began on January 1, 2025. So it may have something to do with the newness of the program.
