Count ’em, two.

I assume this one is meant to be a compliment, but I’m not too sure. Perhaps it’s mocking me:

You always have something favorable to claim. You make me laugh.

This one’s definitely a compliment, albeit a redundant one:

I am in awe of your creativity and also imagination. I’m constantly excited by your knowledge as well as knowledge.

    And, since you sometimes buttress current essays with prior posts, the “knowledge” attribute is rightly doubled.

  6. Maybe we should get Xi to visit some more cities? After all, Biden seems to think he’s worth cleaning things up for, even if Americans aren’t.

  8. Plant trees? Clean the streets? Move the vagrants and fentanyl-/tranq- addicts to the ‘burbs?
    Why go through all that trouble?
    Wouldn’t it be easier (and cheaper) to place temporary paneling around those special parts of the city to hide that which should NOT be seen (as in the old Soviet tried-and-true methodology)?
    Gov. Unwholesom could paint the panels with Floyd George portraits and Che iconography, and augment the backgrounds with artistic splashes of Green and Black (to honor the brave Hamas warriors), equations of Star of David = Nazi Swastika, for variety, and a map of Palestine from the River to the Sea for added panache.
    And so, easier, cheaper—and far more creative.
    Xi will no doubt be impressed…and will then—spontaneously, of course—decide to flood California with strings-attached cash. (He might even get that White-Elephant, High-Speed train up and running in no time flat.)

    Win-win-win!
