Thank you, neo. I’ve just arrived home from a morning of hearing and performing Easter music ranging from the late Renaissance to the contemporary, with some really lovely Victorian hymns by Arthur Sullivan (of Gilbert and) thrown in. This was the perfect ending to my musical day.
Thanks, Neo. It’s sweet of you to post this.
That was beautiful .Ended a blessed Easter day for me.Thank you
So… I don’t often post on your forums, but I’m a pretty regular lurker, and when I saw this post, it reminded me of something I heard a long time ago (well before I ever heard this). It’s a different take on the same song, using the same singer. And I just thought I’d share it with you all.
One lovely piece of music deserves another– here’s a link to the “Et resurrexit” from the Credo of Bach’s Mass in B Minor (Munich Bach Orchestra):

Nicol Sponberg – Ressurection (Gabriel & Dresden Mix)
I’m sure it’s probably quite a bit different from what you’re used to listening to, but either way, hope you enjoy it. =)
