Toby Harnden has a question for Obama
Toby Harnden has a question for Obama.
And I’ve got an answer: no.
[ADDENDUM (Hat tip: Ace). Here’s Jay Carney’s good-for-a-laugh answer:
And kudos to Jake Tapper for asking the questions. He’s one of the best journalists around these days.]
It seems strange to me nobody’s mentioning that Hoffa was raised in a family with close, personal ties to organized crime. He was raised with professional murderers around the house. That’s not a metaphor. His father’s friends killed people for a living.
This isn’t a guy for whom political killing is a mere figure of speech. It’s more of a way of life.
And nobody in the media is bringing this up?
Gee. It’s almost like they’ve got an agenda.
“The danger to America is not Barack Obama but a citizenry capable of entrusting a man like him with the Presidency.
It will be far easier to limit and undo the follies of an Obama presidency than to restore the necessary common sense and good judgment to a depraved electorate willing to have such a man for their president.”
“The problem is much deeper and far more serious than Mr. Obama, who is a mere symptom of what ails America .
Blaming the prince of the fools should not blind anyone to the vast confederacy of fools that made him their prince.
The Republic can survive a Barack Obama, who is, after all, merely a fool.
It is less likely to survive a multitude of fools such as those who made him their president.”
My contempt for that side just grows and grows.
It’s very unpleasant.
Why can’t the man give a simple, straightforward answer to a simple question? These people wouldn’t know the truth if it slapped them in the face. Really tiresome.
There is no avoiding the reality: We either let them push us around (and lose) or we fight back with every down-and-dirty we’ve got (which most of us are reluctant to do).
As far as I’m concerned, let me start by saying: Obama is a baby-killing, grandma-butchering, totally corrupt, backstabbing, and lying totalitarian SOB.
Ain’t so hard!
Poor Jay, you almost have to feel sorry for the SOB…
“Poor Jay, you almost have to feel sorry for the SOB. Almost…”
🙂
I can’t feel sory for Mr. Claire Shipman
I have to agree with the Dodger: the huge problem we have is our idiotic/venal fellow “citizens.” They had a wealth of information about how terrible this guy would be, but they ignored it — or worse, approved of his defects.
In the same vein, we have a poll (Ace reported the results today) that gave Obummer higher marks for being trustworthy with fixing the economy than congressional Republicans. This, in the worst recession since the Great Depression! What would get their attention, a nuclear warhead? or would they sleep through that, too? still saying “gimme free stuff!”
We are so screwed.
For those of you who live in or near New York City and are willing to come for a Patriots’ Rally on Sept. 11th — there will be a rally downtown on Sunday at 3:00 p.m., at West Broadway and Park Place.
Among the speakers, former UN Ambassador John Bolton, various firemen, survivors of the dead, anti-jihad speakers, Robert Spencer, and Pamela Geller.
It’s an explicit, patriotic, anti-jihad rebuke to the anodyne gathering at Ground Zero: where the first responders and survivors and clergy will not be allowed to speak (orders of Little Corporal Bloomberg), and per the Obama Administration’s “guidelines,” no mention will be made of who attacked us, or why.
Be there or be square. Please pass the word along, if you feel so moved.
