Another makeover (or two)
Yes, it’s the same person:
Again, the before and after is the same person, but as someone says in the comments, her own family might have trouble recognizing her:
And no, I don’t get a kickback from The Makeover Guy. I just love these transformations. I notice that they also usually lift the person’s spirits tremendously. There’s a little light in their eyes that wasn’t there before.
Love these make-overs! Thanks for showing them. 🙂
wow.
The second one was much much more significant…
Silly women with long straight hair pre-makeover, both from the northern midwest where the sun don’t hardly shine.
What will they look like in June 2020? Probably will have reverted.
I think they are basically lazy about trying to be attractive.
Thank you for these. They are wonderful. I kinda wish Hillary Clinton would try this. I’m not a fan of hers but my friends and I have often imagined taking her clothes shopping. Some of her choices – many of her choices – are just so sad.
Lovely ladies. Sure, why not. Do what you can, when you can, within reason.
Couple years ago I saw a real eye-opener article, for me. It was a body-building, weight-loss, supplements-sales Before-After ‘expose’ … “In 4, 3, a mere 2 weeks, you too can look THIS GOOD!”
They do it in an hour. 2-3-4 maybe, depending on ‘tasks’. Zero weight loss, no sore muscles.
Mood music. Energy drink. Git a damn haircut. Shape that dead-thing beard. A few CopperTone highlights. Then get the ‘bodybuilder’ guy in a light workout, mildly pumped. Get Bikini Miss going with some jazzercize.
Some Motivational Talk … Lights! Camera! You got it, Baby!!!
Yeah it’s for real, and you can learn it yourself. My tip is, hunt for articles about it, where it’s in stills & narrative, not video. Sure the videos are great viewing, but the write-ups are better for learning.
Great fun! Nice to see their spirits lifted. I’m sure it will have a positive impact on both their lives.
Most of this type of stuff is not intuitive to me, but it is important. It amazes me how many people don’t learn what style of clothes looks good on them. Being a heterosexual man I notice it on women. Where clothes hit the waistline, patterns, colors, types of material… Getting those things right makes a huge difference in appearance and, by extension, confidence.
Oh, it’s so UNFAIR!
If I get a “regular” haircut, shower with slightly hotter water, shave more carefully than average, slap on the tuxedo, load on the “accessories” (studs, cufflinks, gold watch chain and cigarette case (it’s where I keep cash/ID too) gold lighter) two minute buff for the 20 year old “really good” shoes…..
“Unexpectedly”, I’m lady killer! Just as long as I don’t stand too close to the younger men similarly adorned.
Except for the regular haircut (15 minutes) I can do it all myself, in about 30 minutes. Repeatedly, as needed.
I can not lie. I’m thankful that tuxedo events are fewer, and farther, between these days. My latest “self esteem” coup was enjoying a REALLY good sandwich
I made from Thanksgiving leftovers.
Before/after photos of the sandwich not available.
Eva Marie: Hillary dresses like the female equivalent of Mao that she is.
I love these make overs! People sometimes/often need a professional to show them how to improve their look. Go for it! Bloody stupid Hillary has a ton of professional help and still looks like hell a lot of the time even though she’s really not bad looking, esp for her age. With all that help she still regularly looks dowdy and unkempt and I doubt that it’s by design. Speaks to her true nature.
Too many older (and younger) women with thin long straight hair. Just drags the face down.
One nice thing about that channel (which is evident in these 2 examples) is that they don’t pile on the “product” as often happens with department-store demos, which seem to use everything on sale at the counter, and almost always yield “dragon lady” results.
let me throw a wrench in things..
Chinese man sues wife for being ugly, wins $120,000
its interesting that in our society, tricking a woman by pretending you have wealth is a big no no, but tricking people that you look different than you actually do, is just par for the course in achieving the goal of obtaining a uplift in ones ability to be hypergamous
may i point out that he is not the only one..
Stuffing your bra is ok, stuffing your codpiece is not..
What about informing your new beau (or lady) that you used to be the opposite sex? Should a person know?
makeovers are not so much fun unless one ignores potential consequences
after all, we look to mates and such to often having children.
if it doesnt matter, then why is acceptable to abort a down syndrome child?
real world is a complicated place…
fantasy makes it more so
Hillary’s wardrobe on the campaign trail was specifically designed to hide her large waist and thighs. Since then, she’s also been hiding what looks like a back brace and extensive edema around the feet and ankles. I can’t pretend to know exactly what’s wrong with her, but I am sure there is an underlying medical problem, in addition to, probably, too much drinking.
Amazing! They both look fabulous- I wish I could do this!
1) Never ever EVER get tired of those! They are just feel good things that make you smile! (And if you dont’t….ahem, Artfldger… you’re a a grouch…a grouchy grinch!) Btw, they DO look like themselves! Ea. person is still same person, just styled differently! A new look ! For the same person! i.e. all who meet either lady post-makeover would look at a pre-makeover picture and might ask, “Why would she want to look so different when she looks great like this? (w/ newer look)
2) I’m one who never heard that Mao comment about Hillary. So perfect! That made me smile, too!
Lady Gaga, without all the tech support, would look like one of these ‘before’ pics.
I’m doing a sort of slo-mo makeover, at least as far as my hair is concerned. I am growing out my gray hair. No more dye. This is not for the faint of heart. It’s been a year. One of these days I’ll cut the old dyed hair off and Presto!
The makeup part I have under control, at least in my own mind. But I’d still love to have Christopher do his magic cuts and styles with my mop.
