I have no desire to write about it in any detail. If it turns into Something, I’ll write about it. We’ve seen too many similar versions of this play already, although the cast of characters keeps changing.
Some of the characters remain the same, though. It’s their lines that keep changing:

If we had an unbiased honest media we would be seeing stories right now asking why all the national parks and monuments are all open now but weren’t when all the party roles were reversed. In a long line of pettiness from the Obama administration that might be the topper.
The truly burning question is whether the President will be able to attend his big party tonight.

It was for me.
As steve said, “What if they gave a shutdown and nobody noticed?” — If I was President Trump, that’s what I would strive for, and then highlight any genuine inconveniences as the result of Dem intransigence (which they look to be on-target with right now).
i just think that the government shutdown was a payback from the democrat. the same thing was experienced during obama from the republicans. I just feel is simply a payback from democrat
