Did you know…
…that LeBron James is “the most influential person in the major swing state of Ohio”?
He’s endorsed Hillary Clinton, and when I clicked on that Business Insider article to which I just linked, I thought from the headline that they were being sarcastic about the influence part. But no; they seem completely serious, and believe that his backing could aid the Clinton campaign in that state.
And perhaps they’re right. The last time I followed basketball, the players wore tight short-shorts instead of long and baggy ones, and few if any had tattoos. The 70s, I’d say. So, what do I know?
James likes the current system.
Anyone who would be influenced by LeBron is already voting for Hillary.
We are increasingly becoming a celebrity-driven society. After all, who knows better what is good for us than celebrities?
We are increasingly becoming a celebrity-driven society.
Ain’t that the truth!
The Trump side consistently ignores this. Trump is the presidential candidate because he already was a national celebrity entering the primaries, while voters could barely recognize anyone else running except Jeb! and they knew they didn’t want another Bush.
Well neo, you know more than those who find a barely articulate, ‘freak’* of nature’s uninformed opinion… meaningful. But you knew that already…
* slang term indicating an unnatural level of ability.
the nba is a racist left wing organization …… associate with slime and one becomes slime
Well, living in Cleveland, and only occasionally reading the Plain Dealer (aka cleveland dot com), it was interesting to read the response to Mr. James’ announcement. Most said, hey, I watched the Walking Dead last night. Wonder who the lead actor is supporting for POTUS. NOT. Or my gardner. Or my plumber. Because I have no clue for myself.
LeBron lives behind some serious walls himself and, although I think he does great work within the community, might influence his circle but not much else.
Anyone who would be influenced by LeBron is already voting for Hillary.
Yes but those black voters need to turn out. Will they ?
