If they keep their noses to the wheel, and follow the way of principled conservatism – they’ll keep it alright. The real question is: are they a caucus of principled conservatives or a caucus of politicians with a conservative veneer. Ask Dennis Hastert what happens to the latter.

God willing, the Tea Party freshmen will remember why they’re there… and will keep the old-timers focused.
If President Obama keeps tripping over his ego and his inexperience, and the Loony Left keeps lashing out at absolutely nothing (with the national press to cheer them on, down to their very last reader), I don’t think we’ll lose momentum in 2012.
(And don’t forget, there’s always Sarah Palin. She knows her job — to drive the moonbats stark raving mad, thereby showing everyone who and what they are — and she does that job wonderfully well.)
