In latest Fox poll, almost everyone beats Hillary
For the moment, anyway.
Yes, yes, I know that polls at this point don’t matter much, if at all. But they still interest me, because they’re the best we’ve got. They can also tell us something about trends, and the trend for Hillary right now is down.
The newest national poll is from Fox, based on phone interviews that were conducted from Jan 4-7 and featuring 1006 registered voters, the vast majority of whom said they intend to vote. For Republicans and Republican-leaners, the margin of error is 5%, which is rather large. For the entire survey, the margin of error is 3%, which is more typical but still worthy of note.
It’s very interesting to see what’s happening with the projected head-to-head battles of some of the Republican leaders against Hillary Clinton. Mostly the results seem to preserve the patterns each candidate has already established for quite some time, with Rubio doing the best of all (a +9 lead—although he’s never seen anything like that large a lead before). Cruz is next with a +7 lead (also bigger than he had before), Trump has a +3 lead (as usual in national polls, Trump is doing worse against Hillary than the other two, but I believe this is the first time he’s ever led Hillary, so that’s a change for the better for Trump). Unfortunately the pollsters didn’t ask about Christie (although Christie has led Hillary in earlier national polls), nor did they ask about Carson (same). So, why was there a question about Bush? At any rate, Bush is doing the worst of those the pollsters did ask about: he’s tied with Hillary.
Does this poll represent a real improvement of the prospects of the Republican field vis a vis Hillary? I don’t know. It could be an outlier, or the phenomenon could be real. As I mentioned, the margin of error is big. I also noticed that the percentage of Republican respondents in the poll seemed higher than usual, with the parties roughly equal. That could account for the higher scores across the board versus Hillary. It will be very very interesting to see if these anti-Hillary trends persist over time, and if they grow.
And the polls are why Obama’s DOJ indicts Hillary.
Obama then pardons Hillary due to her health.
Biden’s regret is removed and he jumps into the race in March.
Cornhead:
Only if the polls get really low, IMHO. We’re nowhere near that level at this point.
I suppose Super Tuesday will be more important than usual.

As is written in the holy book of Moonstruck: “Snap out of it!”

Oh, oh, more bad news for Hillary:

It gets worse. Trump is getting some social media momentum in the black community:

He has had theses ladies on stage at one of his rallies and the crowd loved them.
“Everyone beats Hillary” — with a knotted plow line I hope.
Wishful wishing. The Dems still have a fortress of over 260 electoral votes so Bernie Sanders will be elected President as soon as it is discovered that Hillary is actually a computer simulation. Apply the Turning test, did anyone see her say or do anything that was not obviously scripted ahead of time?
Not surprisingly, 20% of Trump support apparently derives from “partisan line crossing Democrats”; formerly known as “Reagan Democrats”
Unhappily, it could elect him. This election is about competing populist personalities; not competing ideologies.
Neo. Cornhead is right. Spot on Cornhead. It’s not only a matter of current polls. She is a limping Alpha Fem who is endangering the herd. She’s weak, ill, brain injured and they need to sacrifice her now so Joe can erase his “regret” and jump into the race. Last week I saw footage of her very carefully, gingerly walk up a plane gangway. She was walking like someone desperately trying not to appear drunk (I’m not hinting that she was). It was a great effort at controlling her wobbly steps. And sure enough she did fall as she turned to wave to the crowd. The Dem insiders know how weak and ill she is. And Bill, her last hope, looks worse than she does and no longer wows the giggling girls and just looks creepy. State has been given the GO to release the most damaging Emails. Panetta and Lamar will approach her in a back door meeting with an ultimatum and she will resign the campaign for an extreme health event meant to invoke the tears and sympathy of the nation who will not have the heart to go through an indictment or trial.
Jim Kearney:
I have seen Hillary five times in person. One time was outdoors and the distance was about 20 feet. She looked fine to me.
Cornhead, I think you are spot on, but I have a worse fear — Michelle. She’s black, she’s a woman, and she hates America — a hat trick! More than tingles would run down lefties legs!
Cornhead. Did you see her recently? ARE you in Iowa and a true Cornhead? She seems to pop up for 5 minutes, and goes back into hiding. Like she is being propped up as FDR was. I just saw a report on Breitbart by a Law Enforcement type, and the former NYPD VIP unit said they’d have to almost carry her out after an appearance. She was described as confused and winded and out of it. Huma herself emailed about her frequent confused state. I’m guessing that Trump knows this very well with his insiders. My guess is, the only reason she’s still hanging on is the possibility of her NEEDING to be President in order to hold off DOJ doing it’s job and finally putting the Clintons away, either behind bars or AWAY from the Power they so crave. There must be a creeping desperation to someone who is nearing the age of death after a life committed to doing ANYTHING to maintain Power. The hourglass is almost empty, and the Crown she craved, so close to her grasp.
Jim Kearney:
I’ve been hearing those rumors about Hillary’s health for ages now, and I think they are wishful thinking on the part of her opponents. Not that she doesn’t have some health problems. But I’ve watched her carefully, particularly at times like her debates and lengthy interviews recently, and she seems sharp to me, and to have stamina.
Standing on that stage at the debate for hours—she has seemed extremely sharp, alert, focused. I don’t like her answers, of course. But whatever is going on with her health, I think those who think it will stop her are barking up the wrong tree.
Her physical appearance is fine for a woman of 68, too. She’s not preternaturally young-looking, but she looks fine.
Huma’s reference to confusion was after Hillary’s concussion, during her recovery when some confusion would be normal.
1) On Hillary’s health: who knows what kinds of drugs they jack her up with to make her appear ‘vital’? She’s almost 70, she’s overweight, she had a major concussion…just a few worries.
2) On Trump interesting people because of his ‘personality.’ Wrong, wrong, wrong. Trump jumped to the front of the field for his comments this summer on immigration. PERIOD. Not his cult of personality. That only helped him b/c he is a known figure. But it was immigration that drew crowds. Policy, policy, policy.
K-E:
I don’t think there are many drugs that can allow a person who is quite ill to perform as well as she has in interviews and debates that last for many hours, particularly the debates. And if she is taking drugs that do this, why would she not continue to do so until the election? I just don’t see what everyone is talking about; she faltered a bit when she first went on the campaign trail, and since then she’s seemed fine to me.
As far as being overweight goes—for a women of 68, she’s about typical. People gain weight as they age, ordinarily. She is somewhat plump but hardly obese, and a slight weight gain with age is actually correlated with health rather than illness.

I presume that THIS ^^^ is what the chatter is about.
I predicted — it seems ages ago — that Hillary’s lifelong addition to alcohol would take her out of the running.
One way or another.
Biden has the exact same ‘issue.’
Both are alcoholics.
A sober alcoholic — is STILL an alcoholic.
