Stuff happens
Like, for instance, Wasserman Schultz and Obama take the lead, and the Democrats follow in distorting the words and message of a Republican candidate. The idea is to distract from their own failings, and to undermine the opposition
So, what else is new?
The fact that this particular distortion is about Jeb Bush, who is already falling way down in the polls, is irrelevant. It still works to create a meme about thoughtless, uncaring, mean old Republicans, and it still matters.
DWS and BO are too dumb to really listen to anything someone elso says. They skim for soundbites.
Distorting the words and message(s) is what attorneys do. It is their job.
Seeing a liberal friend on Facebook pass this along as fact was the last straw, causing me to bail out of there for the time being. You might say I should challenge this stuff, and occasionally I do, but it makes no impression, and gets me angry to no purpose. It’s a steady stream of distortion and emotionalism.
On FB, I make a clear, unemotional statement and move on. I do try to LIKE other memes if there’s a remote possibility I might agree. Helps me to look reasonable.
