So remind me: why are we increasing immigration from Muslim countries?
Actually, even though I asked that question, I understand that part of the increase is to accommodate bona fide refugees from tyranny, and particularly people who sided with and trusted us in Iraq and Afghanistan and are fleeing the current regimes that would kill them for giving us that help. But that’s a very small percentage of the whole (and we’re not even accepting all of them).
As for the rest, I’d really like to know, for example, why terrorist shooter Abdulazeez’s family came here from Kuwait. Were they refugees? Were they highly skilled? How were they vetted? I’d also like to know whether they are citizens now.
One other thought—it was only about two weeks ago that Donald Trump made his famous statement about immigration, the one he’s gotten so much flak for and that I wrote about here. In that brief time we’ve had the shooting of Kathryn Steinle in San Francisco, illustrating in graphic and dreadful form the danger of which he was speaking, and now the Chattanooga killings demonstrate the same thing.
You might ask what I’m talking about. For example, although I can’t find the link now, I noticed some leftist in the comments section of another blog mocking Trump after Chattanooga by saying something like this: “Hey Donald, here’s another murder by those terrible Hispanics you demonized, right? While you were busy talking about Mexicans, look what happened!”
But let’s look at Trump’s actual quote from two weeks ago, right after his famous “rapists” comment:
But it’s not just Mexico that’s dumping all of it’s problems in the U.S., Trump continued. “It’s coming from all over South and Latin America and it’s coming probably, probably, from the Middle East. We don’t know.
Indeed. And it’s going to keep coming, if our government has anything to say about it. We don’t seem to be able to monitor immigrants (even legal ones) properly once they’re here, so we need to vet them at time of entry far better than we do, and be very very careful about who we let in, and in what numbers.
Rather late don’t you think, when Americans allow Democrats to live here and be called citizens.
If “far better” was the goal, that is the problem awaiting a solution.
In the past, they were content with ginning up false narratives using actual incidents.

Now that the Leftist alliance has mobilized more of their assets, above 13% now, they should be more than capable of constructing false flag operations and blaming the chaos on their enemies. They did it before with Fast and Furious. They did it in Waco 1 and probably Waco 2.

After watching and listening to Donald Trump since he announced his candidacy for president, we have decided we won’t report on Trump’s campaign as part of The Huffington Post’s political coverage. Instead, we will cover his campaign as part of our Entertainment section.
Trump likes to talk a lot, but it remains to be seen whether he has the guts to follow through on that talk. The Leftist alliance is not something that Trump’s money and influence can simply “fire”.
The problem with accepting immigrants simply on the basis that they are seeking escape from tyranny, is that tyranny is so widespread in Africa and the Middle East that we could easily be overwhelmed.
Perhaps it is hard hearted, but I just don’t buy the argument; except in those instances when it is clearly demonstrated that particular groups within a society–or absence of society–are being targeted. The Jews in 1930s Germany could be identified as such. The Vietnamese who were associated with the U.S. as well. African and Mid-Eastern Christians could qualify today. Muslims? Why?
Even so, there should be careful vetting to insure that only legitimate refugees are admitted.
Other than that, the immigration process should serve the interests of the U.S. It is frankly a little hard to envision what immigrants would bring, that we cannot grow at home. Except high birth rates of course.
We are not an under populated land.

Nonsense. Trump is his own problem. He is free to throw his hat into the ring, as is anyone else; but, unless he is nominated, the GOP has no ownership.

The key is Ted Kennedy’s immigration act. With the goal of family reunification, we have chain migration. That’s how a lot of legal aliens get into the country.

“We” aren’t increasing anything. The enemies of our country who are running it (Obama and the Fascist Bureaucrats and every Dem there is) are doing it so they can destroy “America”.
That is their singular goal and mission. They are doing amazingly well at it, not least because they are fighting the war against us and we are being cute with rhetorical questions.
It is ultimately about our fear. We are afraid to fight for our own posterity.
That’s a shame. Right when America needed heroes at home – in our first ever situation where the enemies are domestic and not foreign – we gave her cowards. Therefore we do not actually deserve our posterity.

The answer is simple, the left wants to impose Islam on the country. Islam is the only religion which was custom designed as a weapon to defeat Judeo-Christian civilization. More than anything else, the left loathes Judeo-Christian society. The left know that the average white middle class American will not convert to Islam without forceful persuasion so they are importing masses of Muslims who will be all too happy to serve as their shock troops when the time comes to enforce Sharia law on everyone else.
